As a Senior Manager, Software Engineer in the Epsilon Prospect Product Development team, you will manage a team of engineers, drive the business & technical roadmap, architect and implement big data solutions in cloud environments with a focus on scalability & availability.

**Responsibilities**

+ Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 8-10 engineers, guiding development efforts and ensuring successful project delivery.
+ Lead end-to-end software development, from requirement gathering to deployment and documentation and driving the business and technical roadmaps.
+ Oversee the management of the team backlog, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure alignment with project goals.
+ Coordinate project logistics, optimize resource allocation, and drive continuous improvement in processes and codebase maintainability.
+ Assist in defining software development project plans, covering scoping and scheduling, while developing and documenting requirements, and specifications with all stakeholders.
+ Foster an environment that highlights each engineer's strengths, addresses areas for growth and mentor them to promote innovation and technical excellence.
+ Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical partners and collaborate with global teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
+ Conduct code reviews and ensure alignment to established coding standards.
+ Architect and develop scalable big data solutions leveraging AWS, Spark, and Databricks.
+ Build and optimize real-time and batch data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and streaming technologies.

**Qualifications**

+ B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MCA in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
+ 12+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture with a strong focus on big data and data engineering.
+ 2+ years of experience with managing large projects and teams.
+ Ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders, including engineering, product, and architecture teams.
+ End-to-end ownership of software development, including requirement gathering, definition, development, and documentation.
+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
+ Strong programming expertise in Python and PySpark for data processing and pipeline development.
+ Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Databricks for large-scale data processing.
+ Extensive AWS experience, including S3, EMR, Redshift, Glue, Athena, EventBridge, Aurora, and RDS.
+ Proficiency in streaming technologies such as Kinesis, SQS, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
+ Strong background in NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB and SQL-based databases like SQL Server, Aurora, and RDS.
+ Expertise in Big Data technologies, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and Delta Lake architectures.
+ Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaaS) tools like Ansible, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation.
+ Experience in CI/CD and DevOps using Jenkins, GitLab, and BitBucket for automated deployments.
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
+ Highly organized, with the ability to manage different projects and deadlines simultaneously and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
+ Ability to work with multi-functional teams during crisis to address and resolve complex incidents and problems in addition to assessment, analysis, and resolution of multi-functional issues.
