<p><b>Description : </b><br/><br/>We are looking for a highly experienced Senior MERN Stack Developer to be a critical driver in the design, development, and scaling of our next-generation Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) and backend services.<br/><br/>This role demands a strong passion for engineering performant, seamless user experiences and building robust, highly scalable systems.<br/><br/>You will be expected to lead by example, mentor junior developers, and contribute significantly to our architectural direction.<br/><br/><b>Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Full-Stack Development Leadership : Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance, responsive PWAs using React.js, TypeScript, and modern state management patterns.<br/><br/>- Backend Engineering : Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and microservices using Node.js, Express/NestJS, and TypeScript.<br/><br/>- Architectural Design : Proactively collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to define system architecture, data models, and integration strategies for complex, mission-critical features.<br/><br/>- Code Quality & DevOps : Institute and enforce best practices for code quality, testing (unit, integration, E2E), performance optimization, and robust CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/>- Mentorship & Innovation : Act as a technical mentor for mid-level and junior developers and drive adoption of new technologies and methodologies to continually improve our development process.<br/><br/><b>Skills & Experience : </b><br/><br/>- 4+ Years of professional experience in full-stack software development, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.<br/><br/>- Expert-level proficiency in the MERN stack : MongoDB, Express.js (or similar Node.js framework), React.js, and Node.js.<br/><br/>- Deep mastery of TypeScript across both frontend and backend development to ensure code quality and maintainability.<br/><br/>- Proven track record of successfully designing, building, and launching Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) at scale.<br/><br/>- Expertise in API Design : Deep understanding and hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable and secure RESTful APIs (or GraphQL).<br/><br/>- System Scalability : Solid history of designing and developing scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-availability systems in a production environment.<br/><br/>- Proficiency with Git and sophisticated Git-based workflows (e.g., GitFlow, trunk-based development).<br/><br/><b>Nice to have skills : </b><br/><b><br/></b>- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services (e.g., Lambda, S3, EC2, DynamoDB).<br/><br/>- Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.<br/><br/>- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Enzyme/Testing Library).</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
