Senior MS Dynamics 365/F&O Consultant Power Platform

<p><p><b>Description :</b><br/><br/></p><p>We are looking for a seasoned Senior Technical Consultant with in-depth experience in <b>Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365F&O)</b> and strong capabilities in the Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps (<b>Canvas Apps</b>).<br/><br/></p><p>This role requires hands-on expertise in delivering complex technical solutions across ERP and Power Platform ecosystems, including Canvas App development, data integration, custom workflows, and automation using Power Apps, Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Azure technologies.</p><p><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate will be capable of designing responsive and user-centric <b>Canvas Apps</b> that connect to D365F&O, Dataverse, and other external systems, contributing to end-to-end digital transformation initiatives.</p><p><br/><b>Roles and Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Responsible to interact with clients on business requirements and technical solutions in an Agile or Waterfall approach.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implementation of technical solutions for customer requirements in D365F&O and Microsoft Power Platform (including Canvas Apps).<br/><br/></p><p>- Design and development of Canvas Apps (Power Apps) tailored to business needs, integrated with D365F&O and external data sources.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensuring all design/technical documentation is kept up to date during the development process, including Power Platform components such as Canvas Apps, Power Automate flows, and related integrations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Responsible to prepare presentations and conduct sessions to the client, including demos of Canvas Apps and Power Platform solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Working with both onshore and offshore development teams across D365 and Power Platform components.<br/><br/></p><p>- Adhere to best practice and KPMG technical standards during all development, including Microsoft Power Platform governance and development standards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Communicate progress updates to stakeholders regularly.<br/><br/></p><p>- Identify any risks and issues early and raise through the appropriate governance channels.<br/><br/></p><p>- Responsible for technical solutions in Power BI, Logic Apps, Canvas Apps (PowerApps), Power Automate, CI/CD, Azure Service Bus, and related technologies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Identify opportunities to grow the team is desirable, particularly in expanding Power Platform (Canvas Apps and related tools) capabilities.<br/><br/><b>Requirements :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Candidate should have the ability to perform in a dynamically changing environment.<br/><br/></p><p>- AI Copilot and Azure knowledge.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven experience in Canvas App development, including building custom business applications using Power Apps with responsive design, connected to Dataverse, SharePoint, or Dynamics 365 F&O.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge and understanding of D365F&O modules, especially Finance, Trade & Logistics, and Warehousing.<br/><br/></p><p>- An understanding of the Dynamics 365 Data Entities and Entity Store and way of customizing them or extending them as required.<br/><br/></p><p>- Relevant experience for 8 to 12 years.<br/><br/></p><p>- Having Microsoft Dynamics D365F&O certifications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with the previous version including Dynamics 365 F&O / Dynamics AX.<br/><br/></p><p>- Previous experience ideally within a distributed delivery team on / offshore.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent documentation, solution design, application of configuration, technical leadership.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Understanding of data migration strategies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of data integration strategies along with Logic Apps / Quartz / middleware.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience and understanding of external components such as Dynamics Mobile, SQL Analysis Services, SSRS, Power BI, and Canvas Apps.<br/><br/></p><p>- Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO / Dynamics AX accreditation in development.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in complex integration development (web services, DIXF, .NET custom client-server applications, knowledge of standard web services and integration protocols oData, SOAP, JSON, REST, SSIS, direct SQL, Azure Logic Apps).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in performance optimization (X++ application code, troubleshooting D365 components, AXPerf, LCS Environment monitoring, SQL performance optimization).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in environment and release management (ALM, TFS, Build processes, Environment management, Installation and configuration of AX and related components).<br/><br/></p><p>- Should have experience of implementing Logic Apps and be well-versed with Azure Functions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with Canvas Apps, including app lifecycle management, responsive layouts, and working with multiple connectors and environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to the full Power Platform (Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) is strongly preferred.<br/><br/><b>Soft Skills :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Confident in abilities and can demonstrate this in front of the client.<br/><br/></p><p>- Works independently as well
