<p><p><b>Role Description : </b><br/><br/>This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Network Engineer (SilverPeak SD-WAN) located in Bengaluru South.<br/><br/>The Senior Network Engineer will oversee the day-to-day activities of network administration and engineering.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting network issues, designing network solutions, and ensuring network security.<br/><br/>The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet the organizations networking needs.<br/><br/><b>Senior Network Engineer (Silverpeak -SDWAN) : </b><br/><br/><b>Position Description : : </b><br/><br/>As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for planning, designing the network, configuration documents and making sure that build is as per the document.<br/><br/>Engineer should be comfortable interacting with a diverse client base and working collaboratively with others, learning and supporting new deployments and technologies, automating and improving processes and fixing problems as they arise.<br/><br/><b>Essential Job Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Plan, design and document SD-WAN architecture.<br/><br/>- Configure & orchestrate silverpeak SD WAN for remote sites.<br/><br/>- Configuring security zones & VRF's to control the traffic on SDWAN.<br/><br/>- Implementing the Edge HA for all branch locations.<br/><br/>- Experience in upgrading the orchestrator & branch SDWAN appliances with latest code.<br/><br/>- Lead architect to develop system architecture, design and develop software for SD-WAN Cloud solutions.<br/><br/>- Strong experience with SDWAN routing protocols OSPF and BGP.<br/><br/>- Document and building proposal for accelerating the TCP traffic utilizing SDWAN.<br/><br/>- Experience with SDWAN HA, Edge HA, WCCP and VRRP implementations.<br/><br/>- Automating weekly reports bandwidth utilization, TCP optimization and on the performance of all SDWAN devices.<br/><br/>- Improving the overall SDWAN infrastructure utilizing the features QOS, TCP optimization,.<br/><br/>- Create templates that can be used to push to all sites.<br/><br/>- Strong ability and desire to learn new technologies and capability to drive innovation are absolute must.<br/><br/>- Available to support the environment.<br/><br/>- Direct engagement with customer to provide support and understand customer needs.<br/><br/>- You must be motivated, driven and a team player.<br/><br/>You should be willing to learn quickly and be enthusiastic about working on a wide range of product area strong communication skills are essential.<br/><br/>- Experience with deployment profiles, templates and pushing them to all branch locations.<br/><br/>- Fine tune the SDWAN with industry best practices.<br/><br/>- Familiar with SD-WAN solution architecture.<br/><br/>- Understanding and having knowledge of Cisco routers, switches is a plus.<br/><br/>- Solid knowledge of general LAN and WAN technologies.<br/><br/>- Knowledge and hands-on proficiency with Linux is required.<br/><br/>- Experience with requirements, processes, procedures and deployment.<br/><br/>- Experience providing evidence for IT audits.<br/><br/><b>Education and Experience : </b><br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline.<br/><br/>- 10 to 12 years of proven experience in a network administrator role, managing and building a complex network.<br/><br/>- Silverpeak Expert Certification.<br/><br/>- Knowledge and hands-on proficiency with Linux is required.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
