<p><p>Senior NMS :</b></p><p><br/>As our Senior Network Management System Developer for CNMS, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of LEO lightspeed networks by leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Network Management System across various segments of the LEO Lightspeed systems.<br/><br/>You will take ownership of complex technical challenges, driving them to successful resolution through expert analysis, collaboration, and innovative problem-solving.<br/><br/>Within our Agile SAFe framework, you will play a key role in the scrum team, actively contributing to the release train and ensuring the timely delivery of robust, scalable, and high-quality CNMS solutions.<br/><br/>Your role will be instrumental in optimizing network performance, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.<br/><br/><b>Main Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, implement and enhance Operational Support System and Network Management System to provide solutions for resource management, service ordering, service monitoring, fault management, software upgrade, observability and zero touch provisioning solutions to ensure optimal network performance and reliability.<br/><br/>- Contribute to the design and analysis of network management applications for managing Lightspeed network elements.<br/><br/>- Drive vendor collaboration to evaluate and integrate network management solutions aligned with industry standards and emerging technologies.<br/><br/>- Oversee technical documentation to ensure high architectural integrity and development quality.<br/><br/>- Maintain comprehensive CNMS documentation to support transparency, maintainability, and operational efficiency.<br/><br/>- Maintain YANG modules for modular resource, service and fault management.<br/><br/>- Contribute to the resolution of complex implementation and network issues through cross-functional coordination and root cause analysis.<br/><br/>- Design and maintain automated test suites to support CNMS validation.<br/><br/>- Define and enforce network security standards to ensure system integrity and policy compliance.<br/><br/>- Contribute to system-level modeling, including interface definitions and CONOPS for Lightspeed.<br/><br/>- Collaborate across engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless CNMS integration.<br/><br/><b>Education and Experience Required :</b><br/><br/>- 5- 10 years of experience in a technical design and development role.<br/><br/>- Proficient in Layer 2/3 protocols, gRPC/gNMI/gNOI, HTTP/2, mTLS.<br/><br/>- Programming skills in modern Python 3.x, and BDD test frameworks.<br/><br/>- Experience in developing software container hosted in Linux environment.<br/><br/>- Working knowledge of Yang, NMTS XML, YAML, JSON IETF encoding, and template language (e.g. Jinja2).<br/><br/>- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.<br/><br/>- Experience with NMS tools like Netcracker Digital OSS, ONAP, Ciena Blue Planet, Amdocs.<br/><br/><b>Knowledge in Protocols and Standards :</b><br/><br/>- IP, MPLS, SR-MPLS.<br/><br/>- Ethernet, VLAN.<br/><br/>- MEF and TMF Standards.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
