Job description

<p><p><b>Job Description : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Managing Oracle 11g and 12c, 19c databases on ExaCs, OCI, Oracle Linux and LINUX environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Influence the design, capacity planning tuning and the actual build out of Exadata DB instances on Oracle Cloud infrastructure.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work towards automating key operational activities.<br/><br/></p><p>- Middleware environment administration (Install, configure, migrations, tuning, patching, administration & monitoring) on any middleware platform such as Oracle.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure the effective daily operation of the production / Middleware applications and provides administrative support for new implementations, upgrades, and migrations<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure the DB system is always up to date and patched to the latest version in an automated fashion<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop solutions that ensure DB health check are done in an automated and proactive fashion<br/><br/></p><p>- Interact with customers and developers for any priority situations and react/respond timely manner<br/><br/></p><p>- Play a key role in the design of HA/DR solutions for the new Identity cloud service<br/><br/></p><p>- Get involved in Performance, Scalability and Reliability Analysis and database query tuning<br/><br/></p><p>- Troubleshoot HA/DR and Database Performance issues on the existing cloud service<br/><br/></p><p>- Work with architects and development managers in requirements specification definition and detailed engineering analysis from data requirements perspective<br/><br/></p><p>- Own database/schema design documentation at component and product level<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in rapid delivery in planning, building, configuring, deploying, monitoring and documenting for Oracle Cloud projects<br/><br/></p><p>- Automating routine maintenance tasks as appropriate utilizing OEM, Shell scripting and PL/SQL batch processing;<br/><br/></p><p>- Support the production environment on 11g,12c, 19c databases on Oracle Linux and RHEL.<br/><br/></p><p>- Backup and restore using RMAN utilities, Disaster Recovery testing, recovery Catalog and refreshing databases on multiple environment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage, troubleshoot and resolve oracle database and applications issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform database and application tuning through the use of AWR and ADDM<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with Oracle enterprise manager 13c<br/><br/></p><p>- Assist the application development team with tuning and optimization of long running SQL and PL/SQL queries for better performance.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in RAC and Multi-tenant (CDB-PDB) environments and performance tuning as well.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform and develop the PL/SQL code for automation process.<br/><br/></p><p>- Working knowledge of Exadata<br/><br/></p><p>- Manager and troubleshoot and resolve Oracle database and Performance its issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiars with Cloud platform (preferred OCI, AWS, Azure)<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience on WebLogic Administration Forms and Reports<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to PostgreSQL database administration is Have : : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- University Graduate degree (Btech, B.E)<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of ITSM tools like Service Now<br/><br/></p><p>- Oracle Database Administration Certification<br/><br/></p><p>- Linux Administration<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent command over written and spoken English (mandatory)<br/><br/></p><p>- Good understanding of Network and Storage concept<br/><br/></p><p>- ITIL Foundation certification Skills : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Oracle 11g and 12c, 19c databases Administration on ExaCs, OCI, Oracle Linux and LINUX environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Installation, configuration, patching and upgrading Oracle database software, applications and related products.<br/><br/></p><p>- Troubleshooting skills and resolve oracle database and applications issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform database and application tuning through the use of AWR and ADDM<br/><br/></p><p>- OEM tool skills<br/><br/></p><p>- Performance tuning and optimization<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform and develop the PL/SQL code for automation process.<br/><br/></p><p>- Working knowledge of Exadata<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiars with Cloud platform (preferred OCI, AWS, Azure)<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience on WebLogic Administration Forms and Reports<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to PostgreSQL database administration is required<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of SQL, PLSQL<br/><br/></p><p>- Awareness of Unix / Linux platforms Change/Problem /Incident Management Process</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
