Description
Roles and Responsibilities - Designing, developing, and executing test plans for Salesforce applications.
- Identifying, recording, and tracking software defects in a bug tracking system.
- Working closely with developers to ensure defects are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
- Writing clear and comprehensive test cases and test scripts.
- Provide detailed test result reports to project manager and stakeholders.
- Ensure that Salesforce applications meet business requirements and standards
- Staying up to date with new testing tools and test strategies to improve the overall quality of software
- Performing regression testing to ensure that changes to the software do not impact functionality.
- Should take active part in requirement gathering sessions for the project.
- Assessing and evaluating new Salesforce features and updates.
- Should have experience in administration and configuration of Salesforce portal using clicks, not code
- Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the system have been tested and are working perfectly.
- While not always required, knowledge of Apex, the Salesforce programming language, can be beneficial for creating complex test cases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in Quality Assurance, particularly with Salesforce applications.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce functionalities and components.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
