<p>Job Title : Senior QA Engineer.<br/><br/> Location : Pune.<br/><br/> As a Senior QA Engineer, you would discover and implement gaps in automation framework and system-integration test cases for a modern cloud-scale SmartNIC and Networking infrastructure vendor.<br/><br/> Technical Requirements :<br/><br/>- 8+ years of experience.<br/><br/>- Experience with modern SmartNICs (pcie device and BITW modes) SoC.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of networking concepts (SDN, routing, L2/L3).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with SPDK/DPDK framework and how/why their role in SmartNICs.<br/><br/>- Understanding of Security, Storage and RDMA.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with the Linux kernel's networking stack.<br/><br/>- System Integration Testing, right from tests' discovery, test-plan preparation and overall delivery of quality product.<br/><br/>- Automation infra development for plugging into CI.<br/><br/>- Programming Languages : C/python.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with some automation framework like pytest is desirable.<br/><br/>- Able to work with cross-geography team, build consensus across teams.<br/><br/>- Leadership qualities can identify tasks, assess priorities, in addition to executing them.<br/><br/>- Able to work in tight timelines.<br/><br/> Responsibilities :<br/><br/>- Very strong communication skills, active listening.<br/><br/>- Discover product requirements and propose System Integration Test plan.<br/><br/>- Able to justify/defend technical decisions/choices against peer reviews/criticism, but at the same time flexible in accepting objective feedback for improvements.<br/><br/>- Engage with the customer and take ownership of testing and quality delivery.<br/><br/>- Identify automation needs how the existing automation infra can be leveraged and if there are any missing pieces.<br/><br/>- Implement missing pieces of automation infra.<br/><br/>- Execute and Evolve System Integration Tests.<br/><br/>- Constantly drive for more effective automation and remain curious to explore ways to make the test infra (and the product) better.<br/><br/>- Show initiative, do not wait to be assigned tasks, find the tasks that need to be executed.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with multiple team-mates and also multiple engineers in customer's team for knowledge gathering and building consensus.<br/><br/>- Be prepared to collaborate and 'pull' information to make progress instead of waiting for the right know-how to become available.<br/><br/></p><p>- Able to deliver on tight timelines, demonstrate design foresight to accommodate requirement changes.<br/><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
