Learn more at responsive.io.<br/><br/><b>About The Role :</b><br/><br/>Responsive is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer (Performance) to ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of software systems.
</p><p><br/></p><p>You will design and execute performance tests, identify bottlenecks, and drive optimization strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.<br/><br/><b>What You'll be doing ?</b><br/><br/><b>- Performance Testing & Optimization :</b> Design, execute, and analyze load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests using JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
Optimize system performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks in web, API, and database layers.
<br/><br/><b>- Test Automation & CI/CD Integration :</b> Develop and integrate automated performance tests within CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
Ensure seamless execution of performance tests in pre-production and production-like environments.
<br/><br/><b>- Monitoring & Analysis :</b> Utilize tools like New Relic, AppDynamics, or similar to monitor system performance.
Analyze CPU, memory, disk I/O, and network latency metrics to diagnose and resolve performance issues.
<br/><br/><b>- Collaboration & Agile Practices :</b> Work closely with development, QE, and DevOps teams to define performance requirements and acceptance criteria.
Participate in design reviews, Agile ceremonies, and performance tuning efforts.
<br/><br/><b>- Process Improvement & Best Practices :</b> Continuously enhance performance testing methodologies, stay updated on emerging tools and trends, and drive knowledge sharing within teams.
<br/><br/><b>What Were Looking For ?</b><br/><br/><b>- Education : </b>Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.<br/><br/><b>- Experience : </b>5+ years of experience in performance testing and optimization.<br/><br/><b>Knowledge, Skill, Ability :</b><br/><br/>- Strong expertise in JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, and API performance testing.
<br/><br/>- Proficiency in scripting (Java, Python, Bash) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with CI/CD integration, system tuning, and performance monitoring.
<br/><br/>- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
