<p><p><b>About the job</b><br/><br/></p><p>We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Integration Developer to serve as the lead technical integration resource on Salesforce implementation teams.
They will be responsible for evaluating, designing, and developing integrations to the Salesforce platform for non-profit organizations and higher education institutions.
Successful candidates will be deeply familiar with Salesforces APIs, middleware tools, and Apex integration.<br/><br/><b>Roles & Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Serve as the integration lead developer on project teams for building integrations between Salesforce and external systems via code or middleware.
<br/><br/></p><p>- Write comprehensive test code coverage for any classes, triggers, and components necessary for an Apex integration delivered in a project.
<br/><br/></p><p>- Create integration documentation detailing directionality, frequency, mapping, and maintenance <br/><br/></p><p>- Deliver quality results for the client in a timely fashion and be able to handle projects with multiple clients at once <br/><br/></p><p>- Work collaboratively with project managers and delivery teams to ensure all requirements are met and are consistent with best practices.
<br/><br/></p><p>- Facilitate internal and external meetings <br/><br/></p><p>- Report on the status and risks of each project to Project Managers, Engagement Managers, and Directors of Professional Services as needed <br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain up-to-date, accurate knowledge of NPSP and/or EDA <br/><br/></p><p>- Assess client business requirements to design architecturally-sound solutions.
<br/><br/></p><p>- Be a thought leader within the Salesforce ecosystem <br/><br/></p><p>- Show a commitment to customer satisfaction <br/><br/></p><p>- Deliver on project assignments on time and within budget <br/><br/></p><p>- Perpetually contribute to the betterment of Cloud for Good <br/><br/></p><p>- Be prepared to work in shifts to accommodate our global customer base across different time zones, including the AMER, APAC, and EMEA.
<br/><br/><b>Qualifications :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Strong Salesforce configuration knowledge across a variety of Clouds and/or functionalities <br/><br/></p><p>- Minimum of two years of Salesforce integration experience, using APIs / Apex integration and middleware <br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with SOAP and REST APIs <br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with databases, including SQL and Oracle <br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Eclipse IDE, VS Code, or SalesforceDX CLI <br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with event-driven integrations <br/><br/></p><p>- Solid experience with middleware tools, such as Jitterbit or Mulesoft <br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with best practices and strategies for bulkified, scalable integrations <br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with common nonprofit or higher education systems for integration, such as Banner, </p><p>PeopleSoft, or SAP preferred <br/><br/></p><p>- Experience consulting on Salesforce implementations (1-2 years of experience preferred) <br/><br/></p><p>- Experience developing integrations that operate on a scheduled/batched or real-time basis <br/><br/></p><p>- Applied knowledge of Salesforce, including Sales, Services, and Marketing functions <br/><br/></p><p>- Strong consulting skills, including project and time management, communication, and teamwork/collaboration <br/><br/></p><p>- Agile methodology experience <br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to work with SFDC developers and declarative configuration experts providing insight and solutions to each <br/><br/></p><p>- Proven track record of continuously improving organizations <br/><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience required :</b> Salesforce.com administrator certification,Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer certification preferred :</b> Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience required </p><br/><b>Preferred Skills :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Strong attention to detail <br/><br/></p><p>- Problem-solving skills <br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously <br/><br/></p><p>- Strong project management skills <br/><br/></p><p>- Strong time management skills <br/><br/></p><p>- Strong written and verbal communication skills <br/><br/></p><p>- Intellectual curiosity <br/><br/></p><p>- Passion for continuous learning <br/><br/></p><p>- Presentation skills<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
