<p><p><b>About the Role : </b><br/><br/></p><p>We are looking for a Senior Sensor Engineer to design, develop, and implement advanced sensor technologies that drive efficiency and innovation across our operations.<br/><br/>The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in sensor design, data acquisition systems, signal processing, and algorithm development, with the ability to translate cutting-edge sensor technology into real-world industrial applications.<br/><br/><b>Sensor Technologies : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- In-depth knowledge of various sensor types, including temperature, pressure, proximity, optical, and inertial sensors.<br/><br/>- Expertise in MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) and NEMS (Nano-Electro-Mechanical Systems).<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Design and develop sensor-based systems for cement products, airport baggage handling, and material handling processes.<br/><br/>- Select, specify, and integrate sensors (temperature, pressure, proximity, optical, barcode, inertial) into embedded systems, PLCs, and DCS.<br/><br/>- Develop analog and digital circuits for sensor signal conditioning, amplification, and filtering.<br/><br/>- Implement data acquisition systems and ensure reliable data collection using communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet).<br/><br/>- Apply digital signal processing techniques to enhance data quality and accuracy.<br/><br/>- Build and integrate machine learning / AI algorithms for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and automation.<br/><br/>- Prototype, simulate, calibrate, and validate sensor systems for industrial environments.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensor technologies into broader IoT and Industry 4.0 initiatives.<br/><br/>- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and user manuals.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Bachelors / Masters in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or related field (PhD is a plus).<br/><br/>- 3+ years of proven experience in sensor design, development, and implementation.<br/><br/>- Strong background in embedded systems, circuit design, and DSP.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW.<br/><br/>- Experience with industrial automation, PLC/DCS integration, and IoT systems.<br/><br/>- Preferred : Experience in cement industry, airport operations, or material handling systems.<br/><br/><b>Soft Skills : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication skills to work across technical and non-technical teams.<br/><br/>- Ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative environment<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
