As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:

+ Using software development skills to develop tools, test frameworks and automation of test processes
+ Helping make Akamai systems faster, scalable, reliable, & secure by improving ability to test, deploy and maintain
+ Collaborating with software engineering teams in an Agile environment to influence through code review.
+ Influencing design process and product development
+ Providing support for interface issues to update changes and provide fixes to bugs.

**Do what you love**

To be successful in this role you will:

+ Have 6 years of experience with a degree in MTech/ME/BTech/BE in Computer Science or a related field
+ Have hands-on experience with test automation frameworks using Java/ Python (i.e. TestNG, pytest, robot) and tools like Selenium, Playwright.
+ Be well versed with networks and protocols e.g. TCP/IP , HTTP , DNS, TLS/SSL.
+ Be well versed in scripting language like Python, web application architecture.
+ Have familiarity with version control system and continuous integration systems (such as, Git, Jenkins)
+ Have experience in networking, cloud, Load balancers and Identity systems & understanding of containerization & Orchestration.
