<p><p><b>Description :</b><br/><br/><b>About the Role :</b><br/><br/>We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Software Development Engineer (SDE III) to join our core engineering team.<br/><br/>You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our high-scale, low-latency microservices that power our flagship platform, handling millions of transactions daily.<br/><br/>This role requires exceptional skills in Object-Oriented Design (OOD), distributed systems, and hands-on experience with modern backend technologies.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust, scalable, and secure microservices using Java (Spring Boot) and/or Golang.<br/><br/>- Architect and optimize high-throughput, low-latency applications, ensuring adherence to best practices in performance and reliability.<br/><br/>- Drive technical vision and execute system design (HLD/LLD) for new features, ensuring solutions are well-documented and maintainable.<br/><br/>- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Frontend teams to define API contracts and deliver end-to-end features.<br/><br/>- Perform comprehensive code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across multiple systems in production and non-production environments.<br/><br/><b>Required Technical Skills & Experience (Mandatory) :</b><br/><br/>- Experience : 6+ years of professional experience in backend software development.<br/><br/>- Languages : Expert proficiency in Java (with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud) or Golang for building production-grade services.<br/><br/>- Databases : Deep knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra/Redis), including data modeling and query optimization.<br/><br/>- Architecture : Strong experience with Microservices Architecture and designing highly available, fault-tolerant Distributed Systems.<br/><br/>- Messaging : Hands-on experience with asynchronous messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.<br/><br/>- Tools : Proficiency with Git for version control, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have) :</b><br/><br/>- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), specifically leveraging services for compute, storage, and networking.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).<br/><br/>- Prior experience in developing high-frequency trading systems or large-scale E-commerce/FinTech platforms.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with performance profiling tools and techniques<br/><br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
