You will collaborate closely with development and data engineering teams to enhance data quality and automation coverage.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks tailored for ETL pipeline testing and data validation.<br/><br/>- Execute comprehensive end-to-end ETL testing, including source-to-target mapping, data reconciliation, and integrity verification.<br/><br/>- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for effective data validation and verification across multiple databases.<br/><br/>- Develop Python-based automation scripts from scratch for ETL workflows and API testing to increase test coverage and reliability.<br/><br/>- Work collaboratively with developers, data engineers, and QA teams to ensure high data quality and effective automation strategies.<br/><br/>- Integrate automation testing within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git.<br/><br/>- Leverage cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to support data testing and automation efforts.<br/><br/>- Analyze testing results, identify root causes of data issues, and recommend solutions to improve data pipelines.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- 8 to 14 years of experience in SDET or QA automation roles, with a strong emphasis on ETL testing.<br/><br/>- Proficient in Python programming and writing automation scripts.<br/><br/>- Extensive experience with SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries for data validation.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or SSIS.<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes, including Jenkins and Git.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.<br/><br/>- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for data accuracy and integrity.<br/><br/>- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- Experience in API automation testing alongside ETL testing.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and big data technologies.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
