About the Role  
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Google Cloud Functions (GCF) App Developer  to lead the design, development, and optimization of serverless applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in building scalable, secure, and high-performance serverless architectures, along with hands-on experience integrating Cloud Functions with broader GCP services.
Key Responsibilities  
- Design & Development : Architect, develop, and deploy serverless applications using Google Cloud Functions , Cloud Run, and other GCP services.
 
 
- System Integration : Build and maintain APIs and event-driven solutions integrating GCF with services such as Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Firestore, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Scheduler .
 
 
- Performance & Scalability : Optimize serverless workloads for low latency, cost efficiency, and high availability .
 
 
- Security & Compliance : Implement IAM best practices, secret management, and secure API gateways ; ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
 
 
- CI/CD & DevOps : Set up and maintain automated pipelines for serverless deployments.
 
 
- Monitoring & Reliability : Leverage Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring (Stackdriver), and Error Reporting  to build robust observability and alerting.
 
 
- Collaborate  to deliver end-to-end cloud-native solutions .
 
 
Required Qualifications  
- 6+ years of experience in cloud-native application development  with at least 3 years in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
 
 
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go  for writing Cloud Functions.
 
 
- Proven experience with event-driven architectures  and serverless ecosystems.
 
 
- Solid understanding of APIs (REST/GraphQL), microservices, and messaging systems  (e.g., Pub/Sub, Kafka).
 
 
- Expertise in GCP Identity & Access Management (IAM) , security policies, and secrets handling.
 
 
- Strong knowledge of databases  (Cloud SQL, Firestore, BigQuery, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL).
