<p><p><b>About the job :</b><br/><br/>Senior Software Engineer - AI<br/><br/>Location : Trivandrum (Onsite)<br/><br/>Experience : 3-5 years (AI/ML-focused)<br/><br/>Work Mode : Onsite, Trivandrum<br/><br/>Availability : Immediate joiners or candidates with up to 20 days notice the Role :</b></p><p><br/>We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - AI to join our team in Trivandrum.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about building Generative AI applications, Large Language Model (LLM)-based systems, and Agentic AI solutions.
This role requires hands-on expertise in developing, deploying, and scaling AI-powered products while collaborating with cross-functional teams.</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><p><br/>- Design, build, and deploy AI-driven applications and services, with a focus on Generative AI and LLMs.<br/><br/>- Develop Agentic AI systemsautonomous agents capable of planning and executing multi-step tasks.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into products.<br/><br/>- Write clean, scalable Python code and build APIs/services for AI model deployment.<br/><br/>- Own feature delivery end-to-endfrom research, experimentation, and prototyping to production deployment and monitoring.<br/><br/>- Stay updated with emerging AI/ML frameworks, tools, and best practices and apply them to enhance product capabilities.<br/><br/>- Contribute to a high-performing engineering culture and mentor junior developers when Skills & Experience :</b></p><p><br/>- 3-6 years of overall software development experience, with at least 3 years in AI/ML engineering.<br/><br/>- Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.<br/><br/>- Proven expertise in working with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral) and Generative AI models (text, image, or audio).<br/><br/>- Practical experience with Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, Semantic Kernel).<br/><br/>- Experience in building and deploying ML models into production environments.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) and prompt engineering.<br/><br/>- Good understanding of API development, version control (Git), DevOps/MLOps practices.<br/><br/>- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environmentadaptable, proactive, and Join Us ?</b></p><p><br/>- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge Generative AI and Agentic AI systems.<br/><br/>- Collaborative and innovative environment with end-to-end ownership of features.<br/><br/>- Competitive compensation with opportunities for career growth.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
