<p><p><b>As a Senior Software Engineer :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing software products within the Precisely Location Intelligence line of business.<br/><br/>You will have ownership of the code base and all related build processes and automation.<br/><br/>You will work within a team using agile methods to implement and deliver project requirements and will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements.</p><p><br/></p><p><b>What You Will Do :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise level software products in the geocoding and addressing domain.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability analyze and solve complex software problems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Create and maintain APIs and programs using C/C++ language that interface with Java integrations and perform in Cloud/SaaS environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Effectively use Git for building and managing code.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in code reviews.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work within an agile Scrum team in the role of software We Are Looking For : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Bachelor's in computer science, engineering, or a related field, depending on position level.<br/><br/></p><p>- 5 - 10+ years experience in software engineering.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven experience in C/C++ programming language.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience developing applications for Windows and Linux operating systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding and implementation of automated software testing and Quality Assurance </p><p>methodologies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Self-motivated and have an interest in continuous learning.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team.<br/><br/></p><p>- Must be hard working, team oriented, creative, cooperative, and an exceptional problem </p><p>solver.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic group with a desire to be part of a small, lean </p><p>and growing team.<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of Z/OS Mainframe and its modules ISPF, CICS, IMS, JCL good to have.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Bash script, Groovy and Nix shell scripts.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Post GRES and SQL queries.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to Cobol good to Requirements : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Knowledge in Java programming language is a nice to have.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working on agile teams, preferrable using Scrum.<br/><br/></p><p>- Tools : Jira, Git.<br/><br/></p><p>- Background in mainframe operating systems (z/OS, CICS, IMS)</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
