Senior Software Engineer (Go)

Job description

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer (Go) to lead a greenfield project building an order returns system.

Help establish Go best practices, mentor the team, and collaborate cross-functionally to create a robust e-commerce platform empowering global businesses.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a scalable order returns system (greenfield project)
• Establish Go best practices and facilitate team onboarding of Go as a new language
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, designers, and partners
• Ensure high code quality, operability, and maintainability
• Promote modern tools and patterns while balancing practicality

Requirements

• 4+ years of Go development experience
• Strong grasp of modern programming principles and clean, tested code
• Experience with production systems (monitoring, debugging, observability)
• Leadership mindset—owns outcomes, mentors others, and leads by example
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for learning and sharing knowledge
