Our Team :

Engineering Experience (EXP) comprises leaders, product managers, software and DevOps engineers, and business analysts, all aligned on delivering broad value across numerous enablement spaces, from public cloud technologies to developer portals and observability tools.

EXP partners closely with its stakeholders within Cimpress Technology and beyond to enable hyper-localized and business-wide outcomes that enhance the engineering experience and journey of our companies' products, services, and customers.

The Jupiter team within EXP provides tools, bespoke integrations, and frameworks to raise the level of production readiness and enable easy discovery of Cimpress services internally and externally.

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Jupiter group, your role will involve delivering on the product vision while also contributing to its development.

You will be responsible for producing technically excellent outcomes and fostering the professional growth of those under your leadership.

What You'll Be Doing :

● Design, build, and deliver complex, scalable, and secure software features end-to-end, releasing in iterative increments to deliver value quickly and reliably.

● Take ownership of your technical work - from design and implementation to testing and deployment - while contributing to design discussions and technical decision-making within the team.

● Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to refine requirements and translate them into practical, maintainable technical solutions.

● Write clean, high-quality, and well-tested code, and participate in code reviews to maintain and elevate engineering standards.

● Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and reliability issues to improve overall system health and maintainability.

● Investigate and resolve production issues, improving system resilience and ensuring high availability of services.

The Skills and Experience You'll Bring :

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

● 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience, with proven delivery of production-grade systems.

● Deep expertise in one or more of the following: Node.js, NestJS, Express, Fastify, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

● Solid experience building RESTful APIs and working with JSON-based communication.

● Proficiency with React, HTML, CSS, and state management tools like Redux.

● Strong database knowledge: MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB).

● Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudFormation, etc.)

● Experience with infrastructure as a code ( IAC ), like AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform.

● Strong knowledge of version control and modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

● Solid understanding of application security principles and authentication/authorization design patterns.

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence decisions and drive alignment across teams.

Nice to Have

● Experience working on or contributing to developer portals (such as Cortex, Backstage, or similar platforms).

● Familiarity with internal developer experience (DevEx) tools and platforms.
