<p><b>Job Description :</b><br/><br/>We are looking for a skilled and motivated Windows Systems Software Engineer with strong programming skills in C and C++, and a solid understanding of the Windows operating system internals.
<br/><br/>The ideal candidate will have experience working with kernel-mode or driver-level components, and a good grasp of scripting and automation within Windows environments.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and maintain system-level software on Windows platforms.<br/><br/>- Work with kernel-mode components and understand low-level driver architecture.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate drivers and system components.<br/><br/>- Utilize scripting tools such as PowerShell, batch files, and WinRM for automation and system management tasks.<br/><br/>- Analyze and troubleshoot system-level issues, including driver conflicts and performance bottlenecks.<br/><br/>- Interface with .NET-based systems and contribute to platform integrations.<br/><br/>- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation of software components.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- Proficient in C/C++ development on Windows platforms.<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of Windows Kernel and driver development concepts.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience or familiarity with driver development (WDM, KMDF, UMDF) is a plus.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of .NET framework fundamentals.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of Windows OS internals, event logging, and Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI).<br/><br/>- Experience with PowerShell scripting, WinRM, and batch file scripting.<br/><br/>- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Experience with Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, and Hyper-V environments.<br/><br/>- Exposure to Windows system security, Group Policy, or enterprise management tools.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with performance profiling and debugging tools (e.g., WinDbg, Sysinternals suite).</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
