Urgent! Senior Software Engineer - Python Programming Job Opening In Pune – Now Hiring Confidential
<p>Job Description :</p><p><br/></p><p>Responsibilities :<br/><br/>- Responsible for handling the product issues' analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution.<br/><br/>- Take ownership of providing technical support for the issues that could not be resolved by the Level 1 & Level 2 customer support teams.<br/><br/>- Responsible for handling product related technical queries from the stakeholders.<br/><br/>- Coordinating the issues internally with the Team Leads, Product Managers, Roadmap Team, and Cross-functional Teams.<br/><br/>- Implement meaningful workarounds to shorten the customer downtime.
Subsequently follow-up and ensure the implementation of the permanent solutions.<br/><br/>- Identify the root cause of an issue, document it, and provide feedback to the roadmap team on corrective actions to ensure such cases are not missed in the future.<br/><br/>- Participate in or organize a war room call to troubleshoot the issue, with collaboration with the cross-functional teams.<br/><br/>- Ensuring meeting the agreed SLAs<br/><br/>- Incident management, reporting, RCA documentation in Jira<br/><br/>- Plan, design, develop, and maintain software application defect fixes in a timely manner<br/><br/>- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.<br/><br/>- Implement software solutions using Python, Flask, Angular, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and AWS services.<br/><br/>- Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure software quality.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to identify and fix software defects.<br/><br/>- Create and maintain technical documentation for software projects.<br/><br/>- Use version control systems (Git) to manage and track code changes.<br/><br/>- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and best practices.<br/><br/>- Work as part of an agile development team to deliver software increments.<br/><br/>- Open to learn from each other in the team and each experience day-to-day.<br/><br/>Qualifications :<br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.<br/><br/>- Proven experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role.<br/><br/>- Proficient in one or more programming languages.<br/><br/>- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.<br/><br/>- Ready to work in flexible working hours when needed.<br/><br/>Requirements :<br/><br/>- Experience with web application development and support (frontend and/or backend).<br/><br/>- Have at least 5 years of experience in developing & supporting Python related applications.<br/><br/>- Experience in building & supporting applications with containerization such as Docker<br/><br/>- Experience in writing relatively complex DB queries (any relational DB) is required.<br/><br/>- Experience in building web platforms with Angular 9+ is nice to have.<br/><br/>- Experience in building RESTful APIs using Python and web frameworks such as Flask is required.<br/><br/>- Experience in working in any of the ORM tools like SQLAlchemy, Django is required.<br/><br/>- Experience with cloud computing platforms i.e. AWS (other Cloud knowledge is also considered on Azure or Google Cloud) is nice to have.<br/><br/>- Should be comfortable with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban<br/><br/>- Key competencies required: Support, Problem-Solving, Analytical, Collaboration, and Accountability<br/><br/>- AWS- certifications would be an advantage<br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
