<p><p><b>Job Description :</b></p><p><br/>We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented senior software engineer to join our global and dynamic software engineering team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering solutions as per the roadmap of the products.
This involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to work towards achieving a common goal.
As a senior software engineer you will coach/mentor junior developers within the team to ensure code quality is maintained to the highest levels, ensure robust code coverage on all solutions developed and strive towards continuous improvement of the software development process(es) in Level :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Bachelors or masters degree or Higher in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or relevant work required :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- At least 6-10+ years of experience working as a software developer.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Knowledge and experience of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Must be strong with Core Java with Spring Framework, Spring Boot technologies.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Must have strong SQL skills with any RDBMS databases like SQL Server, Postgres, Sybase.
PL/SQL and SQL Tuning is a plus.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Must have messaging knowledge and working with any JMS is a plus.
(Kafka, JMS, Solace)<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Must be familiar working with Linux/Unix server environment and having shell scripting is a plus.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Must have been working with Dev Ops tools like Gitlab CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, Jenkins/Gradle, JIRA etc.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with JavaScript and Angular UI is a plus.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Any experience of Test-Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development is an advantage.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Cloud technologies, deployment, and design is a plus.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Financial Services background and knowledge of trade lifecycle is a plus.</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Skills :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- Agile and self-starter<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to troubleshoot and determine various outcomes from different scenarios.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Attention to detail.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Work independently and contribute ideas in a team responsibilities :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- Work on strategic green field and brown field projects across Prime Finance and Post Trade Technologies, Custody Platform for Digital Assets and Business as Usual requests.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Work to build and enhance various Prime Brokerage application components.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Work on Software maintenance and infra upgrade projects.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Perform code reviews to ensure best coding practices are adhered to and guide/coach junior developers in the team when required.
Troubleshoot production system support issues.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- As an independent player, should be able to liaise with multiple teams to ensure dependencies are met on time.
