Role 1: HIL Testing- Power Systems experience, OPAL RT, RTGS, Interact with HW and do the testing.
Basic plant behaviours knowledge.
Ability to create plant model to test the software.

Role 2: QA - SW testing kowlege, basisc of sql, basic linux, QA artifacts.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to test process, tools, and methodologies to include both manual & automated test execution.
- Interpret requirements for testability and ensure coverage in test case design.
- Present test plan to leads and product owner for approval prior to execution.
- Work closely with the scrum team to drive, implement, and maintain tests in an agile environment.
- Assess impact of design changes to determine optimal level of testing.
- Develop methods and perform load and performance testing.
- Integrate testing with continuous-integration process.
- Troubleshooting mindset, an ability to break down a system or process systematically and effectively into subparts to identify failure mechanisms.
- Ensure proper analysis and documentation of test results.
- Actively participate in team retrospectives.
Recommend & implement improvements to test strategy & planning. - Possess excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Ensure all testing deliverables are of high quality and compliant.
- Experience in bug management tools like JIRA.
- Perform in-depth regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new test and automation techniques, and better assist other team members.
- Participate in all aspects of SDLC (analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation).
Work within an Agile team, participating in ceremonies related to the Agile framework. - Support cross-functional teams in requirements analysis, design reviews, code reviews, deploying, and maintaining the product / tool.
- Drive automation strategies, testing best practices and ensure test code is of the highest quality.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience:
- Experience in software testing / quality assurance with web- based applications and client-server applications.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology
- Hands-on experience in manual API testing
- Experience in automation testing using Selenium or similar frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills, and advanced problem-solving orientation and decision-making skills.
- Working knowledge of the various types of testing, from functional testing to performance and mobile/browser compatibility.
- A passion for technology with demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
- Understanding of the web/desktop application development cycle and programming techniques and tools
- Excellent project and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or with a group.
- Ability to participate in working sessions that result in clear technical requirements and technical design while working with technical, non-technical members.
- Ability to write Java code for the purposes of testing solution code (e.g., white-box testing).
Mandatory Skills:
Experience in any SCADA, Controllers, or any industrial automation component like RTU, PLC, IED testing
Experience in testing industrial automation protocols like Modbus, DNP3, IEC 101/104, IEC 61850 etc.,
Domain experience in Energy, Power, Utilities.
Web- based applications and client-server applications
Selenium or similar frameworks
Desired Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Unix and Shell scripting basics
- Understanding of key UI design principles
- Experience in Java developments tools: IDEs, build frameworks, source code control and other ALM tools.
