<p><p><b>Role : QA Engineer</b><br/><br/><b>A little bit About MSET</b><br/><br/> At MSET, we are a leading Loyalty Services Company specializing in Next Generation Digital Solutions to propel client growth.<br/><br/> Since our inception in 2019, we have developed and operate a proprietary loyalty solution that ensures measurable returns for our clients.<br/><br/> With a global presence, we offer a complete suite of Loyalty Management Services covering strategy creation, operational management, App Development, Data analysis, Quality Assurance, and Solutioning.<br/><br/> Our multinational teams, based in the UK, UAE, India, and Pakistan, are dedicated to Lifecycle Management, leveraging meaningful data insights to drive success for our clients.<br/><br/> Join us in revolutionizing the loyalty landscape with innovative solutions and impactful results.<br/><br/><b>What are we looking for you to do ?</b><br/><br/> - User Story Alignment : Understand user stories and ensure that the build/solution meets the user acceptance criteria.<br/><br/></p><p> - Test Case Creation : Create test cases and test data based on user stories or scenarios.<br/><br/></p><p> - Test Execution : Perform test case execution with various scenarios to validate functionality.<br/><br/></p><p> - Bug Reporting : Daily execution of tests and reporting of bugs accurately.<br/><br/></p><p> - Testing Procedures : Carry out testing according to defined Software Quality Management (SQM) procedures.<br/><br/></p><p> - Walkthrough Participation : Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures to ensure thorough understanding.<br/><br/></p><p> - Standards Adherence : Ensure that all testing-related work is carried out as per defined standards and procedures.<br/><br/></p><p> - Application Sign-Off : Sign off on the application/build solution/features and ensure proper documentation is present.<br/><br/></p><p> - Status Reporting : Send daily status reports and keep the EL/QA SPOC informed about progress and issues.<br/><br/></p><p> - Professional Communication : Communicate professionally at all levels within and outside the organization.<br/><br/></p><p> - Troubleshooting : Troubleshoot quality issues and support the team in modifying test procedures as needed.<br/><br/></p><p> - Bug Fix Collaboration : Collaborate with the development team on bug fix verification and validation.<br/><br/></p><p> - Project Support : Support testing of different projects when needed and extend hours as per business requirements.<br/><br/></p><p> - Sprint Status Reporting : Present timely status for sprint and post-merge testing, ensuring SQM/QA SPOC is kept informed.<br/><br/><b>Technical Skills :</b><br/><br/> - Manual Testing : Executing test cases, exploratory testing.<br/><br/></p><p> - Basic Automation : Exposure to Appium, WebdriverIO, or Detox.<br/><br/></p><p> - API Testing : Running basic API calls in Postman.<br/><br/></p><p> - Device & OS Testing : Testing on Android/iOS real devices and simulators/emulators.<br/><br/></p><p> - JIRA Bug Logging : Documenting defects with reproduction steps.<br/><br/></p><p> - Documentation : Writing test cases, maintaining test execution reports.<br/><br/></p><p> - Sprint Updates : Providing daily test progress in stand-ups.<br/><br/><b>What are we looking for in the successful candidate ?</b><br/><br/> - Ideally 3+ years of QA experience.<br/><br/></p><p> - Knowledgeable in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.<br/><br/></p><p> - Generates test cases based on the requirements.<br/><br/></p><p> - Understanding of quality engineering in Scrum/Agile environments.<br/><br/></p><p> - Ability to manage multiple and complex priorities, and to recognize when a change of priority is needed.<br/><br/></p><p> - A desire to develop both personally and professionally.<br/><br/></p><p> - Good inter-personal, spoken and written skills.<br/><br/></p><p> - Good analytical and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/></p><p> - Excellent planning and organizing skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.<br/><br/></p><p> - Experience in testing Native and Hybrid Apps on Real devices / Cloud platforms / Simulators for IOS and Android.<br/><br/></p><p> - Ability to work under pressure maintaining attention to detail.<br/><br/></p><p> - Good Knowledge of API and Databases.<br/><br/></p><p> - Track record of successful troubleshooting and debugging.<br/><br/></p><p> - Adheres to company policies and mandatory compliance protocols.<br/><br/></p><p> - Ability to interact positively and effectively in a distributed team environment.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
