<p><p><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test cases and test scenarios.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing across on-premise and cloud platforms.<br/><br/></p><p>- Analyze requirements, identify gaps, and ensure thorough test coverage.<br/><br/></p><p>- Use scripting (in Golang and Python) to support test execution, validation, and automation support where needed.<br/><br/></p><p>- Identify, report, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.<br/><br/></p><p>- Document test results, maintain testing logs, and support release documentation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure adherence to QA best practices and processes.</p><br/><p><b>Required Skills and Experience : </b><br/><br/>- Strong background in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) and manual testing methodologies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Working knowledge of Golang and Python for scripting purposes.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in working across Windows and Linux environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience in testing applications deployed in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and on-premise </p><p>infrastructure.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Prior experience with NetBackup or similar data protection/backup solutions is a strong plus.</p><br/><p><b>Preferred Attributes : </b><br/><br/>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Eagerness to learn and adopt new tools or technologies related to QA and DevOps.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
