<p><p><b>About the job :</b><br/><br/>- Deliver customer value in the form of acting as gatekeeper of quality for all our software components and services.<br/><br/>- Being a member of a Product Engineering team, ensure the product delivered is of highest quality.<br/><br/>- Help the team to imbibe Agile values and principles effectively.<br/><br/>Work with cross functional teams within engineering, usability team, product management, operations team, and customer support engineers to design and support building high quality solutions.<br/><br/>- Develop the best automation solutions based on the product requirements.<br/><br/>- Contribute to Agile QA planning to define the sprint scope.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product marketing managers) to find ways on how automation can improve the workflow.<br/><br/>- Take part in brainstorms to come up with new ideas and designs that improve existing features.<br/><br/>- Cooperate with a development team to formulate the QA tasks and explain post-release user feedback.<br/><br/>- Develop a thorough understanding of the domain and influence the architecture roadmap.<br/><br/>- Total ownership of end-to-end quality of what the team builds; consider flawless customer experience as success criteria<br/><br/>- Should understand the value of commitments to delivery made by the cross functional agile team<br/><br/>- As a member of technical staff, you'll have the opportunity to grow as a software engineer in a culture of technical excellence, high team performance and impeccable work ethics.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Analyse requirements, produce accurate & excellent coverage of test cases, and curate the test cases in test case repository.<br/><br/>- Write test specification, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, bug reports, and other test documents.

Execute test cases and review artifacts created by others.<br/><br/>- Prepare and execute automation test cases and test scripts of complicated applications with understanding of business requirement and adapting the testing with the requirement.<br/><br/>- Contribute towards building a strong product engineering culture as the team builds new product capabilities in modern technology.<br/><br/>- Translate functional requirements into test cases with a users perspective in mind.<br/><br/>- Identify specific cases that should be automated and discuss them with manual QA engineers.<br/><br/>- Write clean, high-quality scripts that test product functionality automatically.<br/><br/>- Conduct various tests covering the entire stack - systems, networks, applications, APIs, databases etc.<br/><br/>- Execute automation scripts on different browsers/environments & report defects/results to the team.<br/><br/>- Log and document errors in the Jira tracking system.<br/><br/>- Identify defects and drive issues to resolution and closure.<br/><br/>- Should understand fundamentals of iterative product development, and constantly seek ways to improve our processes for increased agility and quality.<br/><br/>- Be well versed in the latest development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, DevOps and test-driven development.<br/><br/>- Participate and contribute to scrum meetings i.e., daily stand-up, sprint planning, readouts and retrospectives<br/><br/>- Adhere to DOD (story definition of done) as part of the sprint, functional testing, code reviews, documentation and adhere to best coding practices.<br/><br/>- Perform peer code reviews in order to ensure automation scripts are of highest quality standards<br/><br/>- Master the domain knowledge in the area of assignment<br/><br/>- Volunteer for work in the backlog and commit to fortify quality delivery; Coordinate efforts across the team to ensure completion and effectiveness<br/><br/>- Work collaboratively across the Technology and Product organizations to ensure alignment towards business goals<br/><br/>- Collaborating with client Management/Executives, Developers, and Testers in developing, implementing and providing status reports around automated test scenarios and impact.<br/><br/><b>Skill & Will</b><br/><br/><b>Must Have</b><br/><br/>- BlackBox & Database Testing<br/><br/>- API Testing<br/><br/>- Automation testing and execution<br/><br/>- Attention to Details<br/><br/>- Analytical Thinking<br/><br/>- Communication Skills and Problem-Solving Skills,<br/><br/>- Time Management<br/><br/>- Cypress, JavaScript, Jenkins, JMeter, Framework Design<br/><br/>- AI Tools & technologies, Performance Testing<br/><br/><b>Good to Have</b><br/><br/>- ETL Testing,<br/><br/>- Security Testing<br/><br/>- Co-Pilot Usage<br/><br/>- People management Skills<br/><br/><b>Not Suitable For :</b><br/><br/>- B.Com or Non-B Tech Education qualification<br/><br/>- Below 6 years of Experience<br/><br/>- No experience in Manual Testing.<br/><br/><b>Knowledge, Experience & Qualification :</b><br/><br/>- Holds an academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science.<br/><br/>- 6+ years of working experience as an automation engineer<br/><br/>- Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals.<br/><br/>- Experience in working in Agile scrum teams.<br/><br/>- Ability to handle change and be open to it along with good time management and an able to work under stress<br/><br/>- Respond to technical queries / requests from team members and customers<br/><br/>- Collaborate with various disciplines within engineering and outside such as product management, user experience, tech support and with customers to provide innovative test automation strategies<br/><br/>- Facilitate technical decisions; incorporate feedback and emergent patterns; ensure technical cohesion in Test Automation architecture<br/><br/>- Experience in testing performance aspects of web applications, server components, database and web services<br/><br/>- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills<br/><br/>- Demonstrated ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels<br/><br/>- Ability to work with minimal direction with a focus on customer satisfaction<br/><br/>- Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed<br/><br/>- Creative problem-solving skills and superb communication skills</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
