Senior Systems Development Engineer

Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area.

**Minimum qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 5 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform.
+ 5 years of experience with virtualization services (Proxmox, VMware or similar) and HCI (VxRail, vSAN or similar).
+ Experience in scripting/coding (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar).

**Preferred qualifications:**

+ 10 years of experience with systems automation, and with systems design and implementation.
+ Experience with technical infrastructure (e.g., deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting), and with reliability of technical infrastructure.
+ Experience with Python/Go for scripting and automation.

**Responsibilities**

+ Build and support manufacturing IT infrastructure ensuring 24/7 uptime of services at manufacturing sites across the globe.
+ Work cross-functionally and globally with stakeholder teams across our partner network, devices, services and Google.
+ Design, test, implement and maintain changes/additions to Google Cloud infrastructure across devices and services.
+ Execute and run autonomously but know when to escalate to ask for assistance.
