<p><p><b>We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Lead with 8 -15 years of expertise in software engineering, strong backend development skills, and hands-on experience in leading AI and machine learning initiatives.
This role is instrumental in shaping and delivering innovative, enterprise-grade AI solutions across diverse domains in the US and UAE.</b><br/><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, robust problem-solving capabilities, and leadership experience to guide end-to-end AI solution development from architecture and design to deployment and scale.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions within scalable microservices-based architectures.<br/><br/>- Architect and build backend systems and APIs using modern frameworks and tools (e.g., Python, FastAPI/Flask, Docker, Kubernetes).<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, product managers, DevOps engineers) to translate business needs into high-performing AI applications.<br/><br/>- Guide technical roadmap development for AI initiatives, including LLMs, fine-tuning, and agentic AI systems.<br/><br/>- Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle from data acquisition, preprocessing, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.<br/><br/>- Implement CI/CD pipelines, DevOps/MLOps best practices, and robust testing frameworks.<br/><br/>- Leverage cloud platforms (AWS preferred) for scalable infrastructure and deployment, ensuring cost efficiency and security compliance.<br/><br/>- Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI/ML and backend engineering, and recommend the adoption of emerging technologies where applicable.<br/><br/>- Communicate complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences effectively.<br/><br/><b>Core Technical Skills : </b><br/><br/>- Strong proficiency in Python (must-have) with experience in FastAPI or Flask for building scalable APIs and microservices.<br/><br/>- Solid hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing distributed systems.<br/><br/>- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and following best practices in DevOps and MLOps workflows.<br/><br/>- Experience delivering end-to-end ML solutions, including LLM fine-tuning, small language model optimization, and building agentic AI systems.<br/><br/><b>Good to have : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Proven track record in defining and developing end-to-end Machine Learning, Deep learning and Generative AI solutions, from conception to deployment<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in advising, defining and applying best practices, evaluating alternative and complementary ML and foundational models suitable for given business contexts<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in mentoring junior team members, and guiding them on creating end to end AI solutions</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
