<p><p><b>Job Description :</b><br/><br/> This position is accountable and responsible for automated testing and quality assurance for software systems, with a focus on developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/> This position is accountable and responsible for testing and quality assurance for software designed specifically to configure and operate a hardware device.<br/><br/> <b>Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/> - Develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.<br/><br/> - Analyze and report automated test results, track defects, and contribute to continuous integration and delivery processes.<br/><br/> - Collaborate with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure test automation is integrated from the start.<br/><br/> <b>Qualifications and Education Requirements :</b> </p><p><br/></p><p>- A minimum BS degree (or equivalent) in computer science, computer engineering, information engineering, or electrical engineering.<br/><br/> <b>Skills Needed-.</b><br/><br/> - Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in the testing.<br/><br/> - Strong understanding of Quality Assurance Lifecycle and software development lifecycle, with emphasis on automation practices.<br/><br/> - Experience in automated testing of web and desktop applications using tools such as Selenium, PyTest, or similar.<br/><br/> - Experience with browser DevTools and ability to automate validation of Console, Network, and Application tab outputs.<br/><br/> - Experience with Atlassian products and integration of test automation results into tools like Jira, Confluence, XRay/Testrail.<br/><br/> - Ability to create/maintain automated test scripts and related documentation.<br/><br/> - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python to develop and maintain automated test suites.<br/><br/> <b>Key Competencies :</b><br/><br/> - Adaptability/Flexibility : Ability to adapt and meet changing needs: open to new ideas; takes on new responsibilities.<br/><br/> - Communication : Writes or speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and responds to questions giving clarification when needed; negotiate effectively with colleagues and staff; demonstrates group presentation skills.<br/><br/> - Comfortable in a diverse multi-national team.<br/><br/> - Teamwork : Demonstrate and promote teamwork; able to build moral and group commitments to achieve goals and objectives; supports everyones efforts to succeed.<br/><br/> <b>Preferred Skills :</b><br/><br/> - Knowledge of Oil & Gas Industry products and services.<br/><br/> - Familiarity with basic Dev-Ops (Jenkins, bitbucket pipelines, Azure DevOps, etc.<br/><br/> - Experience working with controllers and RTUs.<br/><br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
