<p><p><b>Job Title : </b> ServiceNow Technical Lead<br/><br/><b>Shift : </b>Flexible<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Bangalore<br/><br/><b>Job Objective : </b><br/><br/>As a ServiceNow Technical Lead, you will design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions to ensure a secure, compliant, and high-performing platform.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business needs into scalable, automated technical solutions.
This role requires deep technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/><b>Technical Leadership & Development :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Architect, design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and platform components.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Lead end-to-end implementation of modules including ITSM, ITOM, IRM/GRC, HRSD, CSM, and custom scoped applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop complex workflows, UI actions, client/server scripts, and business rules using Flow Designer and scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure platform stability via health scan monitoring, performance evaluations, and system maintenance.<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct code reviews and enforce best development and testing practices.<br/><br/><b>Platform & Integration Management :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Design and implement robust integrations using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth2, MID Servers, and third-party systems (e.g., Jira, Azure, AWS, Microsoft).<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain and improve ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery capabilities aligned with CSDM.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement DevOps for ServiceNow : CI/CD pipelines, ATF (Automated Test Framework), and Git integration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage regular platform upgrades, patches, and release readiness testing.<br/><br/><b>Project Execution & Collaboration :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, and Business Analysts in Agile/Scrum environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and stakeholder presentations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Create and maintain technical documentation : data models, architecture diagrams, user guides, workflows.<br/><br/><p><b>Governance & Compliance :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ensure compliance with IT security, data privacy, and audit requirements.</p><p><br/></p>- Manage platform governance standards : development, documentation, security, and system health.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide on-call production support and incident resolution within SLA.<br/><b><br/></b></p><p><p><b>Team Development & Stakeholder Engagement :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to coding and documentation standards.</p><p><br/></p>- Foster strong communication with stakeholders at all organizational levels.<br/><br/></p><p>- Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation in platform capabilities.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.</p><p><br/>- 8+ years of progressive experience in ServiceNow development and platform architecture.<b> </b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Strong hands-on experience with :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- ITSM, ITOM, IRM/GRC modules (HRSD, CSM, and custom apps are a plus)<br/><br/></p><p>- ServiceNow CMDB and CSDM<br/><br/></p><p>- JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS<br/><br/></p><p>- Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth2, MID Servers<br/><br/><b>Familiarity with : </b><br/><br/>- AI Search, Virtual Agent, Performance Analytics, Predictive Intelligence<br/><br/></p><p>- App Engine Studio, UI Builder, and Workspaces<br/><br/><b>Solid understanding of : </b><br/><br/>- Agile/Scrum methodology</p><p><br/>- Data modeling, process automation, and platform scalability<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with executives and stakeholders.<br/><br/><b>Certifications :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - Required</p><p><br/>- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Required</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
