Responsibilities
As a member of the ESM Architecture & Governance Center of Excellence (CoE) you will be responsible for:
Enterprise Solution Design
Design and oversee large-scale, enterprise-wide ServiceNow solutions that enable operational excellence and business agility.
Technical Architecture
Develop and support to maintain detailed architecture blueprints for solutions built on ServiceNow to support scalable, secure, and future-proof implementations.
Integration Leadership
Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise platforms (., ERP, CRM, and cloud services), ensuring seamless interoperability and data integrity across systems
Strategic Planning
Define and evolve long-term platform strategies and technology roadmaps to support Swiss Re’s business and digital transformation goals.
Technical Governance
Conduct architecture reviews, gap analyses, and scalability assessments to drive performance optimization and compliance.
Best Practice Enablement
Establish standards for security, data governance, performance, and compliance across all ServiceNow initiatives.
Leadership & Advisory
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to C-level executives and senior stakeholders, providing insights into architectural strategy and platform evolution.
Governance Participation
Contribute as a core member of the DGF Review Board, ensuring solution consistency and architectural rigor across initiatives.
Essentials
ServiceNow Expertise
Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and module interdependencies, including custom app development and automation workflows.
Technical Excellence & Systems Integration Expertise
Proven ability to design and implement integrations across complex enterprise ecosystems, including APIs, middleware, and cloud services.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Strong capability to partner with enterprise architects, developers, and operations teams to deliver cohesive solutions across squads and teams within Swiss Re
Analytical Mindset
Continuous improvement mindset with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on structured solution design, scalability, and reusability.
Governance & Security
Advanced experience with governance, security, and compliance frameworks; familiarity with Swiss Re’s internal policies.
