Role Summary
As a Senior OMS Support Engineer, you will lead troubleshooting, triage, and integration support across post-order ecosystem involving SFCC (SFRA), Salesforce OMS/OCI, and Oracle ERP.
You’ll drive root cause analysis, improve support reliability, and collaborate with developers to optimize orchestration and fulfilment flows.
Responsibilities
- Lead incident handling across the full post-order lifecycle – capture, payment, tax, fulfilment, warranty, and returns.
- Proactively monitor OMS and OCI flows using logs, alerts, and platform events.
- Own technical investigation of API failures, latency spikes, and data sync mismatches.
- Collaborate with development and infra teams to debug issues across OCAPI, OCI, Oracle ERP, and OIC layers.
- Analyze and optimize fulfilment prioritization, multi-location inventory sync, and DOM routing scenarios.
Technical Skills
- Deep expertise in Salesforce OMS, OCI configuration, and integration flows.
- Experience debugging SFCC OCAPI/SCAPI transactions, hooks, and customizations.
- Strong knowledge of OIC and OSB-based integrations for inventory and shipment updates.
- Ability to read and analyze REST API logs, platform events, and payloads.
- Hands-on familiarity with DOM concepts, warehouse allocation rules, and SLA configurations.
- Exposure to payment/tax integrations – Braintree, Avalara.
Soft Skills
- Ownership mindset with excellent troubleshooting and RCA capabilities.
- Comfortable handling client calls and providing escalation support.
- Ability to spot patterns, automate diagnostics, and suggest preventive improvements.
