<p></p><p><b>About the job :</b></p><br/><p><b>Description :</b></p><br/><p><b>Job Title :</b> Principal AI/ML Field Applications Engineer</p><br/><p><b>Job Location :</b> Bangalore, India (This position requires a full-time, on-site presence in our Bangalore, India office)</p><br/><p><b>Job Description :</b></p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><br/><p>- Engage with India customers and Partners for enabling them to design Physical AI solutions developed with SiMa.ai platform.</p><br/><p>- Guide and support in reviewing existing architecture, proposing alternatives, creating minimum viable solution quickly for demonstration and then scale up to create complete solution.</p><br/><p>- Responsible for selection of various solution components such as Cameras, lighting, SW solution from third party and creating integrated solution meeting customer requirements.</p><br/><p>- Contribute to SoW for customer projects on need basis.</p><br/><p>- Work with other AEs and engineering team for Product evaluation, solution development and deployment, and solution porting.
This includes AI Models selection, performance evaluation, creating end-to-end applications, debugging and deployment.</p><br/><p>- Responsible for technical deep dive training customers and Partners on SiMa.ai SDK and Solutions.</p><br/><p>- Study market vertical trends and create compelling demos/solutions for relevant markets such as Drones/UAV, Robotics, Conversation AI etc.</p><br/><p>- Represent SiMa.ai in various industry events/conferences, roadshows.</p><br/><p>- Keep informed of emerging trends in Embedded Edge/Physical AI markets and ML needs, mapping them to SiMa.ais MLSoC.</p><br/><p>- Gather and relay customer feedback to Product Management for product improvements.</p><br/><p>- Support Sales in expanding existing accounts, identifying new customers, and defending design wins.</p><br/><p>- Track customer interactions, ensuring follow-ups and effective communication.</p><br/><p>- Conduct competitive analysis through customer and industry insights.</p><br/><p><b>Must Have :</b></p><br/><p><b>Desired background, qualifications, and skills :</b></p><br/><p>- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science/Electronics engineering with 10 to 15 years of relevant experience.</p><br/><p>- Preferred to have any Embedded Edge AI related certification.</p><br/><p>- Demonstrated experience in ML and Computer vision applications development and best practices.</p><br/><p>- Experience in C++/Python, GStreamer, Device Drivers, SDK and debugging embedded systems.</p><br/><p>- Experience in deep learning frameworks (Onnx, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).</p><br/><p>- Demonstrated proficiency in Solution development for ARM based SoC with features such as PCIe, MIPI, Ethernet, Video etc.</p><br/><p>- Experience in board bring-up, debug and key considerations for system level solution development.</p><br/><p>- Demonstrated experience with software development in a Linux environment.</p><br/><p><b>Preferred :</b></p><br/><p>- System/Solution Architecture (HW + SW + Edge AI) experience with any of the Edge AI platforms like Jetson, Kinara, Kria SOM</p><br/><p>- Experience in customer-facing roles such as Application/Field Application Engineering role</p><br/><p>- Experience with Conversation AI applications, LLM based applications development.</p><br/><p>- Willing to travel ~25% of the time.</p><br/><p><b>Personal Attributes :</b></p><br/><p>- Self-motivated individual with Can-do attitude, Ability to work and collaborate cross functionally, Strong team player.
