Join our Investment Operations Product Areas (Data and Post-trade Engineering Line) and play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our financial systems.<br/><br/> <b>What You Will Be Responsible For :</b><br/><br/> As a Senior Tester, you will be a member of a self-organized scrum team consisting of software engineers, who collaborate closely with business experts.<br/><br/> The team is responsible for developing and supporting a set of enterprise products within the Corporate Actions Product Area.<br/><br/> You are expected to interact with colleagues from Ukraine, Poland, Denmark, and Germany.<br/><br/> After a comprehensive onboarding program, we expect you to:<br/><br/> - Designing and executing comprehensive test strategies across functional and non-functional areas to validate new features and system enhancements.<br/><br/> - Developing and executing manual and automated tests (E2E, API, UT) based on business requirements and technical specifications, ensuring high-quality deliverables.<br/><br/> - Creating detailed test cases and ensuring they cover the full acceptance criteria, collaborating with product owners, business analysts, and technical leads.<br/><br/> - Conducting business domain analysis related to Loans, ETD, Portfolio Swaps, and other derivatives, understanding key business processes, and integrating this knowledge into test scenarios.<br/><br/> - Supporting the product throughout the testing lifecycle, from test planning through defect management and post-deployment validation.<br/><br/> - Collaborating with teams to refine features and enhance testing coverage based on evolving requirements and market conditions.<br/><br/> - Reviewing and providing feedback on the functionality and quality of the system, participating in regular Sprint review and DEMO sessions.<br/><br/> - Proactively identifying testing improvements, suggesting new tools, processes, or frameworks that can improve test efficiency and quality.<br/><br/> - Supporting legacy systems and maintaining test environments to ensure continuity in critical financial operations.<br/><br/> <b>Skills & Competencies :</b><br/><br/> - A deep understanding of financial products, particularly Loans, ETD, Portfolio Swaps, and other derivatives (options, futures, swaps, etc.), gained through hands-on experience in testing or related business roles.<br/><br/> - A strong background in manual and automated testing, with significant experience in developing comprehensive test plans, creating test cases, and conducting E2E, API, and Unit testing for complex financial applications.<br/><br/> - A solid understanding of business processes within the investment and derivatives sectors, including the life cycle of trades, pricing, settlement, and post-trade operations.<br/><br/> - Experience in Cloud and On-Prem Infrastructure testing, ensuring performance, scalability, and security for financial applications.<br/><br/> - Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks, including experience with CI/CD processes (git, TeamCity) and version control.<br/><br/> - Proven ability to adapt quickly to in-house tools and frameworks, and to learn new business concepts, technologies, and testing methodologies.<br/><br/> - Strong communication skills in English (upper-intermediate and higher), both written and spoken, as English is the corporate language.<br/><br/> - Experience in Agile/Scrum teams, with an understanding of the iterative development process and a strong team-oriented approach.<br/><br/> <b>What We Value : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Leading the development of software components and features, ensuring alignment with business and technical goals.<br/><br/> - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize software solutions.<br/><br/> - Mentoring junior engineers and driving continuous improvement in software development practices.<br/><br/> - Troubleshooting complex issues and implementing solutions to enhance software performance and scalability.<br/><br/> <b>Benefits :</b><br/><br/> Benefits Industry-leading salary, bonus scheme, and pension are essential for any work agreement.<br/><br/> However, in SimCorp, we believe we can offer more.<br/><br/> Therefore, in addition to the traditional benefit scheme, we provide a work & work-life balance: flexible work hours, and a hybrid workplace model.<br/><br/> On top of that, we have IP sprints where you have 3 weeks per quarter you can spend on developing your skills as well as contributing to the company's development.<br/><br/> There is never just only one route we practice a tailored approach to professional development to support the direction you want to take.<br/><br/> <b>NEXT STEPS :</b><br/><br/> Please send us your application in English via our career site as soon as possible, we process incoming applications continually.
