<p><p><b>WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US :</b><br/><br/> We are currently scaling our operations in the Reconcile & Lifecycle Product Area and composing a new scrum team with frontend and backend Software Engineers for the purpose of building a modernized Reconciliation Manager.<br/><br/> We are looking for a full stack Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about building the right solutions in close collaboration with the team, Product Owner and Solution Architect.<br/><br/> The ideal candidate has experience with frontend and backend solutions, preferably including cloud migrations.<br/><br/> The team will consist of members in Ukraine, Poland, Denmark, Germany and India, meaning that both on-site and online collaboration is key.<br/><br/><b>WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR :</b><br/><br/>- In collaboration with your team taking ownership of the design, development, maintenance, testing strategy, and operations of the frontend solutions (hosted in the cloud).<br/><br/>- Building solid frontend components based on modern software patterns both as an individual contributor and in pairs or subgroups within the team.<br/><br/>- Be curious and stay up to date with latest development trends.<br/><br/>- Suggest and implement best-in-class engineering practices in the team.<br/><br/>- Engage actively in design sessions to ensure your team delivers high-quality work.<br/><br/>- Contribute to designing, implementing, and maintaining a healthy build pipeline.<br/><br/>- Tightly collaborating with Frontend developers, System Architects, and UX designers.<br/><br/><b>Your qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- A M.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance or similar field.<br/><br/>- Experience with Cloud and On-Prem Infrastructures.<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of, and experience with, the Angular platform, JavaScript, and TypeScript.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of modern Web Technologies.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure particularly Azure.<br/><br/>- Good knowledge and experience (3+ years) in C# (.NET or .NET Framework.<br/><br/>- Knowledge and experience in the financial domain, fintech, derivatives is an advantage.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in writing unit tests to ensure code reliability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.<br/><br/>- Curiosity and readiness to learn in-house tools and frameworks.<br/><br/>- Understanding and adherence to XP practices (TDD, pair-programming etc.<br/><br/>- Practical knowledge of relational DBs (Oracle, SQLite etc).<br/><br/>- Awareness of CI/CD processes and tools (git, TeamCity etc.<br/><br/>- Experience with Domain-Driven Design is a plus.<br/><br/><b>WHAT WE VALUE :</b><br/><br/>- Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above.<br/><br/>- We expect you to be skilled in several of the following areas and eager to learn the rest.<br/><br/>- Excellent troubleshooting skills and responsiveness to problem-solving that prioritizes the customer experience first.<br/><br/>- On top of the technical skills, you bring a can-do attitude with a positive and constructive approach to managing and solving challenges.<br/><br/>- You have a boy scout mentality and will therefore always leave the code in a better shape than it was before you updated it.<br/><br/>- You have experience with and enjoy working in an agile setup.<br/><br/>- You thrive in projects where the boundaries, scope, and goals are defined as we go and keep a constant eye out for new ways of working and ideas to maximize business impact.<br/><br/>- You have experience building Micro Frontends.<br/><br/>- Excellent English skills in both writing and speaking.<br/><br/><b>OUR BENEFITS :</b><br/><br/>- Competitive salary, bonus scheme, and pension are essential for any work agreement.<br/><br/>- However, at SimCorp, we believe we can offer more.<br/><br/>- Therefore, in addition to the traditional benefit scheme, we provide an excellent work-life balance: flexible work hours, a hybrid workplace model.<br/><br/>- On top of that, we have IP sprints; where you have 3 weeks per quarter to spend on mastering your skills as well as contributing to the company development.<br/><br/>- There is never just only one route we practice an individual approach to professional development to support the direction you want to take.<br/><br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
