<p></p><p><b>Senior Software Engineer Java</b><br/><br/><b>What Makes Us, Us:</b><br/><br/>Join some of the most innovative thinkers in FinTech as we lead the evolution of financial technology.<br/><br/>If you are an innovative, curious, collaborative person who embraces challenges and wants to grow, learn and pursue outcomes with our prestigious financial clients, say Hello to SimCorp!.<br/><br/>At its foundation, SimCorp is guided by our values caring, customer success-driven, collaborative, curious, and courageous.<br/><br/>Our people-centered organization focuses on skills development, relationship building, and client success.<br/><br/>We take pride in cultivating an environment where all team members can grow, feel heard, valued, and empowered.<br/><br/>If you like what were saying, keep reading!.<br/><br/><b>WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US:</b><br/><br/>Were seeking a Senior Java Developer with Spring and Azure expertise to rearchitect the engine powering our Axioma Portfolio Optimizer.<br/><br/>Originally built for on-premises scale, this quantitative tool is a foundation for the new offering in Azure demanding cloud-native efficiency without sacrificing performance for complex portfolio rebalancing.<br/><br/>Youll join our strategic team in building a platform handles real-time portfolio analytics for global investors.<br/><br/><b>What Will You Be Responsible For:</b><br/><br/>- Implement solutions by being involved in all development activities from requirements to support.<br/><br/>- Participate in all development related activities such as code reviews, technical planning, agile practices, etc.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with product managers, DevOps, and front-end engineers to deliver and deploy features.<br/><br/>- Ensure code quality and system reliability through unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/>- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.<br/><br/>- Utilize code versioning tools such as Git for version control.<br/><br/>- Work within a continuous integration environment to ensure smooth and reliable deployment of applications.<br/><br/>- Require proficient business and communication skills, and to be able to understand client specific requirements.<br/><br/>- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.<br/><br/><b>What We Are Looking For:</b><br/><br/>- 4+ years of expertise in Java, Spring Framework (Boot, Data, Security etc.) & microservices architecture.<br/><br/>- Proficient in Java/J2EE design patterns and their practical implementation.<br/><br/>- Skilled in API design (RESTful), distributed systems, OOP principles, and design patterns.<br/><br/>- Hands-on development of REST APIs and Microservice architectures.<br/><br/>- Testing: JUnit, Mockito, TDD/BDD;
