If you like what were saying, keep reading!.</p><br/><p><b>WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>We are looking for an experienced C# Software Engineer, with a deep understanding of its ecosystems, and an extensive background in object-oriented programming.</p><p><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate should be familiar with the .NET framework, skilled in designing and implementing architectural patterns.

Additionally, proficiency in automated testing platforms, unit tests, and Git for code versioning, along with experience in Azure environments, is highly desirable.</p><br/> <p>The SimCorp Dimension product was originally designed for running on-premises with clients, utilizing hardware resources being available 24/7.

As we are moving our business model towards being a SaaS provider and based on Microsoft Azure, we need to re-implement our core platform to be efficient on dynamic Azure infrastructure with a deliberate focus on the cost of compute.</p><br/><br/> <p>Youll be part of a new engineering team in the Transactions & Private Debt product area, contributing to everything from architecture and component design to performance and accessibility and responsible for delivering functionality that enables clients to make investment decisions with our back-office applications.

The ideal candidate should have a willingness to learn APL (A Programming Language).</p><br/><p>Prior experience with APL isnt required - We provide comprehensive training and a supportive environment to help you succeed.

Our company also partly owns Dyalog APL, ensuring the language remains actively maintained and relevant.

The Transactions & Private Debt product area consists of four teams, each with four to seven software engineers across several geographical locations.</p><br/> <p>The new team will mainly consist of team members on-site in Noida, and as a C# & APL Software Engineer you will therefore work closely together with other team members both on-site in Noida, as well as with team members from other locations (in Europe).</p><br/> <p><b>What You Will Be Responsible For : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Contribute to end-to-end design and development of backend systems using C#/.NET and APL.</p><br/> <p>- Participate in all development related activities such as code reviews, technical planning, agile practices, etc.</p><br/> <p>- Collaborate with product managers, DevOps, and front-end engineers to deliver full-stack features.</p><br/> <p>- Ensure code quality and system reliability through unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.</p><br/> <p>- Drive technical discussions and decision-making aligned with long-term business goals.</p><br/> <p>- Be PROACTIVE in improving automation, tools, frameworks, etc.</p><br/> <p>- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.</p><br/> <p>- Utilize code versioning tools such as Git for version control.</p><br/> <p>- Work within a continuous integration environment to ensure smooth and reliable deployment of applications.</p><br/> <p>- Require proficient business and communication skills, and to be able to understand client specific requirements.</p><br/> <p><b>What We Are Looking For : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above.

How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important.</p><br/> <p>- We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to and interested in learning the rest.</p><br/> <p>- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.</p><br/> <p>- 3+ years of experience in software development.</p><br/> <p>- Advanced knowledge of C#, .NET Core/Framework, and object-oriented design principles.</p><br/> <p>- Experience with APIs, including streaming, REST, and Azure Service Bus.</p><br/> <p>- Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns.</p><br/> <p>- Proficient with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Key Vault, etc.)</p><br/> <p>- Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and agile development methodologies.</p><br/> <p>- Experience with test automation tools such as Reqnroll/Specflow.</p><br/> <p>- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.</p><br/> <p>- Experience working in an Azure environment.</p><br/> <p>- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative and collaborate effectively within a team.</p><br/> <p>- Effective communication and team leadership skills.</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>What We Value : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience or familiarity with a vector-based or functional language will be considered as a plus, in terms of learning APL.</p><br/> <p>- Experience in fintech or other regulated industries.</p><br/> <p>- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (Angular, React) and DevOps tooling.</p><br/> <p><b>Benefits : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>SimCorp offers several benefits that might play a significant factor in considering whether to accept a job offer.
