This role requires hands-on expertise with AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes container orchestration, and Jenkins for robust CI/CD pipeline implementation.
The successful candidate must possess strong scripting skills (Python/Java) and a proven ability to collaborate across teams, driving continuous deployment and operational Description : </b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Cloud Infrastructure and Automation : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Design, implement, and manage secure and high-performing cloud infrastructure with hands-on expertise in AWS services, including a minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience or relevant certification.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Configure and manage foundational Linux systems, ensuring security hardening and performance optimization across all environments.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Manage critical Networking and infrastructure components like Elastic Load Balancers (ELB), VPCs, and Auto Scaling Groups to ensure high availability and efficient traffic distribution.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Implement and optimize comprehensive Monitoring and alerts solutions to proactively track application health, system performance, and quickly address operational and CI/CD Pipeline Management : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Design and manage end-to-end Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins for automation, testing, and deployment.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Demonstrate a verifiable track record of implementing continuous deployment (CD) methodologies that reliably and safely push code changes through to production.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Utilize mandatory Kubernetes expertise (2+ years hands-on or certification) for container orchestration, including cluster configuration, provisioning, and deployment to production environments.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Enforce the use of containers (Docker) as standardized build artifacts throughout the development and deployment lifecycle, ensuring environment parity.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to streamline code releases, define efficient branching strategies, and ensure rapid feature Quality, and Problem Solving : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Apply Strong Scripting Skills (Python/Java) to develop custom automation tools, Glue code, and operational utilities, driving the principle of automation-first.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Utilize Strong Problem-solving Ability to identify technical bottlenecks, diagnose complex system bugs, and devise efficient and permanent solutions.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Contribute to maintaining code quality, organization, and standardization across all infrastructure and pipeline codebases.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Advocate for security best practices and compliance throughout the infrastructure and application Skills & Qualifications : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience : Mandatory 6+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering roles.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Cloud : AWS expertise (Certification or 2+ years hands-on), including Linux systems configuration and networking components like ELB.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Container Orchestration : Kubernetes expertise (Certification or 2+ years hands-on), including provisioning and deployment to production.</p><p><br/></p><p>- CI/CD : Mandatory expertise in Jenkins and a demonstrable track record of implementing continuous deployment (CD).</p><p><br/></p><p>- Core Skills : Strong Scripting Skills (Python/Java) and strong problem-solving ability.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Practices : Experience with containers as build artifacts, and implementation of monitoring and alerts.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related Skills : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Development : Prior Software development experience (as a plus).</p><p><br/></p><p>- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Experience with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Methodology : Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Security : Knowledge of security scanning tools and vulnerability management in a CI/CD pipeline.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Certification : AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes CKA/CKAD certification.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
