Job Title: Simulation Expert (Sim/Middleware)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced **Simulation Expert (Sim/Middleware)** to own photorealistic and physics-accurate simulation, scenario generation, and CI-at-scale evaluations.
This role will involve developing, maintaining, and optimizing simulation stacks for robotics testing, validation, and deployment readiness across multiple domains including humanoids, AGVs, cars, and drones.
Key Responsibilities
-  Deploy and manage simulation stacks such as Isaac Sim, Unity, Unreal Engine, Gazebo, and MuJoCo; 
 support both HIL and SIL.
-  Design and implement scenario generators, rare-event sampling, and domain randomization techniques.
-  Develop and calibrate sensor models (camera, LiDAR, radar, IMU, GPS) with precise timing and synchronization.
-  Build log-replay and closed-loop evaluation harnesses with KPI measurement.
Must-Haves
-  5–10+ years of experience in simulation for robotics or autonomous systems.
-  Strong proficiency in C++ and Python programming.
-  Hands-on experience with robotics middleware (ROS 2) and containerization.
-  Expertise in large-scale data I/O pipelines and deterministic builds.
Nice-to-Haves
-  Experience with digital twins and fleet-in-the-loop simulations.
-  Background in generating synthetic data for VLM and Perception systems.
Success Metrics
-  Reduction of sim-to-real performance gaps.
-  Breadth and depth of scenario coverage.
-  Simulation throughput (runs/day).
-  Cost efficiency per run.
Domain Notes
Humanoids:
- Manipulation physics, friction, and contact modeling.
AGVs (Autonomous Ground Vehicles):
- Warehouse digital twins and traffic rule simulation.
Cars:
- Adversarial traffic agents; 
 weather and lighting variability sweeps.
Drones:
- Wind and turbulence modeling; 
 RF/GNSS effect simulation.
