Job Title: Slack Developer – Integrations & Automation

  About the Role  
We are looking for a Slack Developer  experienced in building, customizing, and integrating Slack applications and workflows.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Slack APIs, automation tools, and third-party integrations to enhance communication and productivity across teams.
Key Responsibilities  
- Design, develop, and deploy custom Slack apps, bots, and workflows  using Slack API and Bolt SDK (Node.js or Python).
 
 
- Integrate Slack with internal systems and external platforms (e.g., Jira, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Google Workspace, or custom APIs).
 
 
- Build interactive features  such as slash commands, modals, and message shortcuts.
 
 
- Work with OAuth 2.0 and authentication flows for secure integrations.
 
 
- Implement event subscriptions, message posting, and webhooks.
 
 
- Collaborate with IT and product teams to understand automation needs and deliver efficient Slack-based solutions.
 
 
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Slack integrations and workflows.
 
 
- Maintain documentation and ensure best practices for Slack app security and scalability.
 
 
Required Skills & Experience  
- 5/6+ Years of experience in software development, preferably with Slack integrations .
 
 
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript  or Python .
 
 
- Hands-on experience with Slack API, Bolt SDK, and Web API .
 
 
- Experience integrating Slack with RESTful APIs and webhooks.
 
 
- Familiarity with tools like Zapier, Workato, or Make (Integromat)  is a plus.
 
 
- Understanding of OAuth, API authentication, and security best practices.
 
 
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
 
 
Good to Have  
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or Salesforce integrations .
 
 
- Knowledge of AWS Lambda  or other serverless platforms for hosting Slack bots.
 
 
- Exposure to workflow automation  or chatops  concepts.
 
 
Education  
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
