You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and compliance teams to create clear, accurate, and developer-friendly documentation across our APIs, SDKs, backend systems, and merchant integration guides.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Create and maintain high-quality, structured documentation for :<br/><br/>1.
BNPL merchant onboarding flow<br/><br/>2.
API and SDK references (REST, Webhooks, Events)<br/><br/>3.
Credit decisioning & checkout orchestration flows<br/><br/>4.
Integration guides for merchants, lenders, and platforms<br/><br/>5.
Repayment flows, refunds, and reconciliation processes<br/><br/>6.
Product feature releases, changelogs, and knowledge base article<br/><br/>- Work with engineering and product teams to understand technical designs and user requirements<br/><br/>- Simplify complex financial processes into clear, user-friendly documentation<br/><br/>- Collaborate with the compliance and legal teams to ensure regulatory clarity<br/><br/>- Own the information architecture of our developer portal and internal wiki<br/><br/>- Create diagrams and flowcharts (e.g. customer lifecycle, transaction flow)<br/><br/>- Maintain the documentation stack (Docusaurus, GitHub Pages, Markdown, OpenAPI)<br/><br/><b>Requirements :</b><br/><br/><b>Must-Have :</b><br/><br/>- 2- 5 years of experience in fintech, payments, or lending documentation<br/><br/>- Ability to write for developers, product teams, and merchant stakeholders<br/><br/>- Familiarity with REST APIs, Swagger/Postman, Markdown, Git<br/><br/>- Experience documenting payments, EMI, or credit lifecycle APIs<br/><br/><b>Bonus Points :</b><br/><br/>- Experience with debt or credit products<br/><br/>- Understanding of PCI DSS, KYC/AML, data localization<br/><br/>- Ability to work with JSON, webhooks, Figma, Lucidchart<br/><br/>- Knowledge of India Stack (Aadhaar, UPI, etc.)</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
