Noida (Hybrid - 3 days from office in a week)<br/><br/><b>Employment Type : </b> Full-Time<br/><br/><b>Experience Level : </b> 1218 Years<br/><br/><b>Role Overview : </b><br/><br/>We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Snowflake Data Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of our cloud data platform.
This role demands deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and performance tuning, along with a strategic mindset to align data initiatives with business goals.
You will serve as the technical authority on Snowflake, guiding enterprise-wide data modernization efforts and mentoring cross-functional teams.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions using Snowflake<br/><br/>- Design and implement data models (dimensional, normalized, and hybrid) optimized for analytics and operational efficiency<br/><br/>- Lead migration of legacy data warehouses to Snowflake, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum performance<br/><br/>- Define best practices for Snowflake usage, including clustering, partitioning, caching, and cost optimization<br/><br/>- Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions<br/><br/>- Establish governance frameworks for data quality, lineage, and metadata management<br/><br/>- Integrate Snowflake with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Matillion, dbt), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and third-party systems<br/><br/>- Drive automation and CI/CD practices for data pipelines and infrastructure-as-code<br/><br/>- Conduct performance benchmarking and proactively tune queries and workloads<br/><br/>- Stay current with Snowflake releases and emerging data technologies to recommend strategic enhancements<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- 12 to 18 years of experience in data architecture, with at least 5 years in cloud data platforms<br/><br/>- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including advanced features (e.g., Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel)<br/><br/>- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting for data engineering<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of data warehousing principles, ELT/ETL design, and analytics workflows<br/><br/>- Experience with data security, role-based access control, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)<br/><br/>- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale data initiatives<br/><br/>- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- Snowflake Architect or Advanced Certifications<br/><br/>- Experience with dbt, Airflow, or other modern data stack tools<br/><br/>- Exposure to real-time data processing and event-driven architectures<br/><br/>- Domain expertise in finance, healthcare, retail, or manufacturing<br/><br/>- Familiarity with data mesh or data fabric concepts<br/><br/><b>What We Offer : </b><br/><br/>- Competitive compensation and executive-level benefits<br/><br/>- Remote flexibility and global project exposure<br/><br/>- Access to cutting-edge data technologies and training<br/><br/>- A collaborative, innovation-driven culture<br/><br/>- Leadership opportunities in enterprise data transformation</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
