<p>About the Role :</p><p><br/></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer with deep expertise in data warehousing, cloud platforms, and modern data engineering practices.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Snowflake implementations, migrations, and advanced Snowflake features, along with strong SQL and Python skills.
</p><p><br/></p><p>Key Responsibilities :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Lead and contribute to Snowflake implementations, including migration from traditional DWH systems or fresh deployments.
</p><p><br/></p><p>- Design and optimize complex SQL and SnowSQL queries, ensuring performance and scalability.
</p><p><br/></p><p>- Apply data modelling principles and techniques to develop efficient data structures.
</p><p><br/></p><p>- Implement Snowflake-specific features such as Data Masking, Tagging, SnowPipe, RBAC controls, Virtual Warehouse sizing, Zero Copy Clone, Data Sharing, Streams & Tasks, Time Travel, Secure Data Sharing, DMF, Iceberg Tables, Dynamic Tables, Micro Partitioning, and Query Profiling.
</p><p><br/></p><p>- Develop and execute cloud strategies and adopt best practices for AWS or Azure environments.
</p><p><br/></p><p>- Manage Snowflake Virtual Warehouses, monitor performance, and work with Table Structures, Views, and Materialized Views.
</p><p><br/></p><p>- Handle ETL/ELT integrations, data ingestion, data conversion, and data migration activities.
</p><p><br/></p><p>- Leverage Python and PySpark for data processing and automation tasks.
</p><p><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile practices, Jira, and Confluence.
</p><p><br/></p><p>Required Skills & Experience :</p><p><br/></p><p>- 6- 10 years of total experience, with at least 2 Snowflake implementation projects (migration or greenfield).
</p><p><br/></p><p>- Expert-level knowledge of SQL, SnowSQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
</p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of data modelling and data warehousing principles.
</p><p><br/></p><p>- Solid hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
</p><p><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in Snowflake advanced concepts and best practices.
</p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong Python and PySpark development skills.
</p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and related tools.
