Job description

<p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives for the assigned territory.<br/><br/></p><p>- Identify new business opportunities and drive customer acquisition through proactive </p><p>prospecting and networking.<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage relationships with key customers, channel partners, and distributors to ensure long-term partnerships.<br/><br/></p><p>- Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to recommend corrective actions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct regular field visits to ensure effective coverage, product availability, and customer engagement.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to senior management.<br/><br/></p><p>- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales executives to achieve individual and collective targets.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing strategies, and credit controls.<br/><br/></p><p>- Plan and execute promotional activities, trade shows, and customer engagement events in coordination with marketing teams.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely MBA preferred.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in managing a sales team and handling distributors/channel partners.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical ability with knowledge of sales forecasting, territory planning, and market research.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and sales reporting tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned Competencies:</b></p><p><br/></p>- Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship management skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to lead and inspire high-performance teams.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong business acumen and market awareness.<br/><br/></p><p>- Problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.<br/><br/></p><p>- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.</p><br/></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
