You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks across web, mobile, and API layers to ensure high-quality product releases.</p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><br/><p>- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java + Selenium + Appium.</p><br/><p>- Develop and execute API test cases using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.</p><br/><p>- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure proper test coverage and product quality.</p><br/><p>- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and detailed test reports.</p><br/><p>- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab or equivalent).</p><br/><p>- Debug test failures, identify root causes, and log detailed bugs in issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).</p><br/><p>- Perform regression, functional, and performance testing as required.</p><br/><p>- Continuously improve automation frameworks for better scalability and maintainability.</p><br/><p>- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to QA best practices.</p><br/><p><b>Required Skills :</b></p><br/><p>- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation.</p><br/><p>- Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium with Java.</p><br/><p>- Experience in Mobile automation using Appium (Android and/or iOS).</p><br/><p>- Solid understanding of API testing (manual and automated) using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.</p><br/><p>- Strong knowledge of TestNG, Maven/Gradle, and Git.</p><br/><p>- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).</p><br/><p>- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.</p><br/><p>- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</p><br/><p>- Strong communication and documentation abilities.</p><br/><p><b>Good to Have :</b></p><br/><p>- Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.</p><br/><p>- Exposure to cloud-based mobile device platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).</p><br/><p>- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).</p><br/><p>- ISTQB or other QA certifications.</p><br/><p><b>Education :</b></p><br/><p>- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
