<p>About the role :<br/><br/>As one of the founding members of the Engineering team at client, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems to power our innovative products in flex-space.<br/><br/>Roles and responsibilities :<br/><br/>- System Design and Architecture :<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.<br/><br/>- Design, develop, and implement high-performance and scalable backend systems.<br/><br/>- Database Management:<br/><br/>- Design and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.<br/><br/>- Write efficient and optimized queries to retrieve and manipulate data.<br/><br/>API Development :<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.<br/><br/>- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to secure API endpoints.<br/><br/>Integration :<br/><br/>- Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance the functionality of our real estate applications.<br/><br/>- Work on data synchronization and integration with other internal systems.<br/><br/>- Code Quality and Testing:<br/><br/>- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.<br/><br/>- Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing and integration testing, to ensure the reliability of backend systems.<br/><br/>Performance Optimization :<br/><br/>- Identify and address bottlenecks to optimize the performance of backend services.<br/><br/>- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring timely resolution.<br/><br/>Collaboration :<br/><br/>- Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high- quality software solutions.<br/><br/>- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.<br/><br/>- Agile Development :<br/><br/>- Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.<br/><br/>- Adapt quickly to changing requirements and priorities.<br/><br/>Experience and qualifications :<br/><br/>- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.<br/><br/>- 2-3 years of experience as a backend software developer.<br/><br/>- Strong proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.<br/><br/>- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).<br/><br/>- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.<br/><br/>- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.<br/><br/>- Effective communication and teamwork skills</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
