As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions.

Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.

Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components.

You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product.

You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties.

Roles and Responsibilities :
Work with other Engineers in your Squad/ Tribe, Business Analysts, Product Owners and Architects to design and deliver industry leading systems.

Design and build software that balances the commercial needs of the business alongside delivering the future tech roadmap.

Actively participate in application and database design, data flows and detailed technical design.

Ensure that analysis includes the wider view of technical and business impact.

Own non-functional requirements around performance, security and scalability to ensure we deliver a great customer experience.

Driving best practice around real-time logging, monitoring, alerting.

Proactively drive the enhancement of continuous integration to improve deployment processes in the squad.

Identify obstacles, risks and issues that may/ do impact the technical product and work with Software Engineering Lead/ Tech Lead/ Principal and Senior Software Engineers to mitigate them.

Adhere to policies and standards that impact solutions.

Provide Run support for technical products within Squad.

Proactively support other team members, working with them to help them improve their skills.

Required Technical and Professional Experience:
Overall 8 years experience into Backend Developer

Proficiency

in

Java

and backend development.

Experience with

AWS Lambda ,

AWS

services, and microservices.

Strong knowledge of

REST API

and

SOAP

development.

Proficiency in

SQL ,

Docker ,

GitLab , and

BitBucket .

Expertise with testing frameworks ( JUnit ,

JMockito ) and code quality tools ( SonarQube ).

Experience with build tools ( Maven ,

Gradle ,

Ant ).

Solid understanding of

Linux/UNIX

systems.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools ( Jira , SafeAgile).

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
CI/CD tools:

Jenkins ,

Nexus ,

JFrog Artifactory .

Infrastructure-as-code (IaC):

Terraform .

Orchestration:

Kubernetes ,

Ansible .

Monitoring and logging:

ELK Stack

(Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).

Secret management:

HashiCorp Vault .
