<p><p><b>Job Title : Software Engineering - ColdFusion Developer</b><br/><br/><b>Experience : 5 to 7 years</b><br/><br/><b>Location : Trivandrum preferred , Bengaluru, Kochi, Pune, Chennai, Coimbatore (No Hyderabad)</b><br/><br/><b>immediately - to a week only - joining time</b><br/><br/><b>Work Shift :</b> 02:00 PM 11:00 PM IST (Evening Shift)<br/><br/><b>Work Mode :</b> Hybrid role - 3 days in office and 2 days at home<br/><br/><b>Job Summary :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ColdFusion Developer to join our dynamic development team.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining ColdFusion applications and should be capable of contributing to modernization efforts by transitioning legacy systems to .NET-based solutions.
The candidate must possess strong SQL skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Design, develop, refactor, test, and deploy applications using ColdFusion.<br/><br/></p><p>- Lead efforts to retire legacy ColdFusion applications and assist in the migration to .NET technologies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or similar to build and optimize backend systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Administer and manage the ColdFusion Server Console for application performance and troubleshooting.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver software requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Prepare and maintain documentation for application code and architecture.<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage assigned tasks efficiently and prioritize work independently.<br/><br/></p><p>- Deliver high-quality solutions in a shift-based work environment (2 PM 11 PM IST).<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- 5+ years of hands-on experience with ColdFusion development.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong expertise in SQL and experience working with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with .NET technologies and involvement in legacy system migration projects.<br/><br/></p><p>- Demonstrated ability to work independently and learn on the job.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in administering ColdFusion Server Console.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent oral and written communication skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver results under tight timelines.<br/><br/>Preferred Qualifications :</p><p> <br/>- Experience with cloud environments or DevOps tools is a plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is desirable.<br/><br/></p><p>- Prior experience working in a global delivery model or distributed teams is an advantage.<br/><br/><b>Why Join Us :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Opportunity to work on enterprise-level modernization projects.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborative and innovative work culture.<br/><br/></p><p>- Career growth in a technology-focused organization.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
