<p><p><b>Job Summary :</b><br/><br/>We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer (Premium/Emerging 3 level) with 6- 9 years of experience in advanced data modeling and SQL development.<br/><br/> The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in relational, dimensional, and analytical data models, coupled with deep knowledge of metadata management, semantic modeling, and enterprise data architecture.<br/><br/> This role requires working on large-scale, global data platforms while driving data modeling standards, governance, and best practices across cross-functional teams.</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><p><br/>- Design, implement, and optimize data models for OLTP and OLAP systems.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Develop and manage robust SQL scripts to support enterprise data platforms.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure effective metadata management and semantic modeling.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Implement and enforce data governance practices using tools like Alation and Collibra.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Contribute to data warehousing strategies, including history handling, transformations, and integration with large datasets.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Document processes, standards, and best practices to support scalable enterprise data architecture.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members when Skills :</b></p><p><br/>- Strong expertise in Data Modeling (OLTP & OLAP systems).<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and Teradata.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, ER Studio).<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of Metadata Management & Semantic Modeling.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Data Governance tools (Alation, Collibra).<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, history handling, and Excellent communication and documentation Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Python programming.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with Informatica.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Exposure to data cataloging, lineage, and governance frameworks.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Understanding of multi-fact modeling and complex enterprise data architecture</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
