As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions.

Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components.

You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product.

You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work with other Engineers in your Squad/ Tribe, Business Analysts, Product Owners and Architects to design and deliver industry leading systems.
• Design and build software that balances the commercial needs of the business alongside delivering the future tech roadmap.
• Actively participate in application and database design, data flows and detailed technical design.
  
  Ensure that analysis includes the wider view of technical and business impact.
• Own non-functional requirements around performance, security and scalability to ensure we deliver a great customer experience.
  
  Driving best practice around real-time logging, monitoring, alerting.
• Proactively drive the enhancement of continuous integration to improve deployment processes in the squad.
• Identify obstacles, risks and issues that may/ do impact the technical product and work with Software Engineering Lead/ Tech Lead/ Principal and Senior Software Engineers to mitigate them.
• Adhere to policies and standards that impact solutions.
• Provide Run support for technical products within Squad.
  
  Proactively support other team members, working with them to help them improve their skills.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• Require minimum 8+ years of experience in Node.js, React, HTML, JS, CSS, Figma, Rest API, GitLab, Bitbucket, Nunit, NPM,Nuget, Jira, SQL, Linux/UNIX.
• Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js and React .
• Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML , CSS , and JavaScript .
• Design and implement RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create designs in Figma .
• Manage code repositories using GitLab and BitBucket .
• Write and maintain unit tests using Nunit .
• Manage package dependencies using NPM and Nuget .
• Track and manage project tasks using Jira .
• Work with SQL databases and ensure data integrity.
• Develop and deploy applications on Linux/UNIX environments.
• Follow Agile/Safe Agile methodologies for project management.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• AWS, Microservice, Jenkins, Terraform, ELK, Docker, AWS API Gateway, Hashi Corp Vault, Depend.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks and libraries is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Certification in one or more of the hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, and Google GCP) - otherwise, you can obtain certifications with Kyndryl
• Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices
